The end of May and the beginning of June are always a very difficult time for teachers in my country. The school year is coming to an end, summer break is beginning, and preparations for the next school year are already underway. 🥲

These past two weeks have been incredibly hectic, stressful, and exhausting for me. But drawing Corvus helped me relax and take my mind off things for a little while.))

🥰 Thank you all so much for your reactions to my previous post featuring Leman! It truly means a lot to me and gives me the motivation to keep drawing and sharing my art with you.

A small bonus: recently, I've realized that it's actually easier for me to sketch on whatever scraps of paper I have at hand than to carry my sketchbook around everywhere. Yes, I redrew Leman's face several times because I just couldn't capture the expression I wanted.

And Corvus was originally supposed to be Konrad. But after thinking about it for a while, I realized that this pose and situation wouldn't really suit Konrad's character. Corvus, on the other hand, is exactly the kind of person I can imagine in a scene like this.

These are 2625x3500 digital illustrations, done 100% on Ibis Paint X, and here is The step by step of how I (DON'T DO IT LIKE ME, I AM WEIRD, DO IT LIKE YOURSELF) to render skin to make It look wet/oiled up, ✨Contrast✨, The highlights get Very White and reflective, and we love that for him~

Life update: I’m officially playing Sororitas!!!!

🌒😤♟️I'm out to finish some things* some Old and some New drawings, some sketches of boys doing Dumb kid stuff, some Scary Sororitas smiling and some hundreds of sketches for the Future and small projects,

I Also have to FIGURE OUT A POSE FOR FAX AND CELESTINE TO BE KISSING— WHY IS DRAWING PEOPLE KISSING SO HARD—

At least I get to use Horse-us over here to show How to build a good base for greyscale rendering, because colors can be intimidating, and doing It in Black and White First does help.

Pick contrasting grays for each element and material, The diferent values WILL Help The composition later. Your Shadows and highlights can Also Never been fully Black or fully White, It throws balance off. ALSO, Keep in Mind that Every color has a temperature, like Purple greyscale Will look darker than yellow and stuff, does that make Sense? No? WELL I DON CARE.

Also this game is Diagonal Imperial Conquest, where The most Powerful pieces sit on each corner and The point is to stop them from meeting at The middle, none two important pieces are the same, and The Drake piece IS THE BEST Because It can Never be removed from The board.

Anyways, i know I am super late to the warhammer books party but I am really into Horus Rising and love that every book after has a few paragraphs to remind u how HOT Loken is. Like, if there is a chance for this man to be naked, stripping or be in his body glove...he is. I LOVE IT! HOW CAN I NOT???
