where Breaker takes the day shift, Dusk takes the "night" shift of watching Green Hills from the outskirts. some people don’t know that sonic and shadow have a 2nd son lol.
Dusk has a strong interest in people, in addition to carrying a strong ethos of wanting to protect them. he harbors a feeling of loving someone in a past life, almost like missing someone you don’t remember. secretly a romantic.
Breaker and Dusk operate like a cell where Breaker's like the nucleus, running things at the helm and taking care of the people/duties with what's inside Green Hills, meanwhile Dusk functions like the outer lining of the cell as the membrane, protecting Green Hills and its people from the outside and keeping threats at bay
extremely animalistic behavior when it comes to protecting people. kind of on instinct or a switch being flipped. brutal to his opponents in the event he finds someone hurt/in danger, he takes taking care of the earth and its people pretty seriously
I've always likened Dusk and his concept to the stories/myths of Fae. A seemingly ambivalent presence that appears when people are lost or need help, like a will-o-wisp. a fairy or a sprite. the nice eldritch to guide them back home if he doesn't frighten them first
part of next gen Team Dark with Alex, my knuxouge kid, and Dusty, my metamy kid which i guess counts as their omega lol
despite his solitary nature, he has a habit of picking up a number of hobbies. Dusty asked him to join his band. he became his bassist. knows how to dance at Alex's suggestion of learning how to for a mission. he's the type to accrue habits either through circumstance or at the behest of someone else roping him into something
often helping Daisy (tailsmo kid) tend to the flowers in the greenhouse
Dusk is like an outdoor cat and is usually sleeping up in the trees during the day.
Dusk's ambivalence towards men and soft spot for women were absolutely being cultivated by his interactions with Amy/Rouge/Vanilla being his primary caretakers when Sonic/Shadow aren't around. He's extremely chivalrous to women, but around men he's like 😐. mostly as a result of the men he grew up with bonding/expressing affection through violence LMAO
inherited Black Arms abilities and physiology- enhanced strength, rapid regeneration. has a doom morph and doom wings like his father. if his physical body sustains too much damage, he will regress into a Black Arms Morph-like state. a weapon by all trade, he's a healer too- his blood able to heal wounds and speed recovery in doses. he's an anonymous blood donor to hospitals
when he was young, Dusk could not control his forms. Shadow took it upon himself to help teach and train him about control. Shadow's anxieties might’ve skewed his view of and slightly strained the relationship between him and his son, Dusk remained kind through and through. Dusk naturally admires his dad a lot Shadow's definitely got tough love for Dusk
