Jason Todd rant/controversial confession

I always liked him as a solo character. I feel like after all his been through as a character DC is still trying to push Dick Grayson’s persona ( I don’t know if that’s the right word) because they know people like him and just want to make money. It would make sense after all the betrayal and suffering he has been through he would not want to make connections with people anymore.To be honest I never really liked the batfamily ( don’t hurt me😰) though that might be because of how Batman is written now.

In my opinion it ruins the concept and importance of Jason Todd. Bruce Wayne and Jason Todd are in a way foil characters. Bruce Wayne grew up rich with loving parents. Jason Todd was from poverty and no matter what Catherine Todd tried to do for him he still grew up in a neglectful and abusive household. Bruce has always had someone to guide him and although now matter how saintly this fandom portrays Alfred he really did not do that good of a job. Even though he is an adult when he becomes batman he is still young and Alfred has some responsibility to guide him in the right direction instead of enabling him. BUT THIS IS NOT A POST ABOUT WHETHER BATMAN IS THE BEST THING BRUCE WAYNE COULD HAVE DONE.( sorry I get sidetracked.) Getting back to the point, Jason was living on his own and the only guidance he got was observing how other people were surviving on the street. So Bruce has a very optimist naive view where going and stopping a burglary and money can make an impact/ difference. I would say fix but he knows this is a war he cannot win and we’re not gonna even talk about how he had a plan to put his conciseness in a new body about every 20 years to always fight crime. While Jason has a very cynical “real world view” about crime. I don’t condone ALL his killing but I can see his view of controlling crime to be a valid stand point. In the end I like and think it is more true to his character to be an independent anti- hero who still kills. He does very much fit in with the rouges gallery.

Gee, that was I long post but I would love to discuss this and other things about Batman is Batman actually a good idea or just the result of a traumatized child, is it ok to kill certain people or immoral no matter what, do they deserve a second chance and do you really believe they would use it, did Jason kill Felipe Garzonas and what do you think of his characterization today.
