This fic will be set in innocent!readers pov.

The sun is warm on your face as the morning birds chirp, you quickly grab your phone, seeing a text from Albert- you get more excited then you'd like to admit.
He has been off at some event for YouTube- 6 days to be exact.

No words could describe the rush of anticipation that coursed through you, you could already hear his voice- saying how much he missed you.
Albert had been your boyfriend? Friend? Friends with benefits? For around 6 months. There had always been something brewing between you two since you met 5 years ago, he wanted you.. bad. But things changed once he found out how inexperienced you are- he knew you hadn't even been in a real relationship.. so he set some ground rules.
And y/n would have no idea how much Albert had to hold back, have self control for once in his life.
He went from fucking a new girl every week to now never, except for the girls y/n would never find out about.
He couldn't break your heart.
As you got dressed for the airport you felt your stomach churning and not from excitment this time, from being fucking nervous. Because today you've reached your breaking point- you're gonna be straight with him.
You felt the buzz of anticipation from your fingertips to your toes as you stand at Albert's gate waiting to see him.
As soon as you see messy brown hair you knew it was him, you immidietly run into his arms.
He chuckles softly "Damn, y/n you missed me?"
You say nothing just rub your face into his chest.
"Hey angel.. look at me." You quickly look up and he pecks you on the lips quickly giving you a smile that sends arousal through you.
"I missed you..so much". You speak giving him a kiss on his cheek as you two start walking through the airport.
"I missed you too, baby." He says in a low tone which makes you turn your head to look at him- and fuck he's looking at you like he's in love with you you felt the blood rush to your cheeks as you look away.
He holds back a smirk watching you blush.
You bring him to your car as he loads his luggage into your trunk, as he's finishing up you get in the drivers seat taking a deep breath telling yourself over and over again:
The worst thing he'll say is no.
Just as you start fixing your hair he hops in the car.
"Ready?" your tone is more high pitched then usual as you release a shaky breath, "You good y/n?" "-never better" You cut him off as you start the drive home, trying to save the topic until your almost home in case he-
"Angel..talk to me." he speaks as he reaches over and squeezes your thigh softly.
You hesitate before it all spills out.
"I wanna go...steady." You speak quickly, like word vomit.
He pulls his hand away "What? Steady? The fuck does that even mean?" he says with a soft sigh.
"I mean I want to be serious, call you my boyfriend..."
"God angel, you just-" his tone raises which causes you to tense up "I don't do steady especially with girls like..you.." His voice gets softer near the end, like he almost immediately regretted the words he just said.
Your heart drops as you swallow your tears.
"Yeah, yeah your right that was stupid..just forget it," Your words are shaky as you pull into Albert's driveway.
"Y/n don't fucking cry." He huffs and clenches his jaw, he taps his knee a couple times before turning to you.
Those words hit you deep, you chin quivers as you try and speak but nothing comes out.
"Just stop- just forget this, forget us." He says with a sharp gesture between you two as he scoffs.
You feel a wave of nausea.
And through wet eyes you see his front door close, as you pull out of his driveway.
And now you officially don't know what you and Albert are.
I do plan on making this fics longer, this was just a short one to get started!
