How to explain to my friends that black people are not only dark, but also light? I said Greg lightskin. Just because he's a lightskin doesn't make it any less black. My acquaintances do not understand why I called Greg light. And I had to explain about the diaspora and shades.
fully support this dc comics boycott bc yeah. it IS fucked up that they've mostly been centering white lead runs rather than give their poc characters the spotlight. i am DESPERATE for a solo duke thomas run.
but the arguments i've seen against the boycott are genuinely so stupid. "this will hurt local comic shops!!" as if the only comics they sell are dc 🤨 "but... but what about absolute green lantern??" absolute universe is NOT the mainline universe. where is this attention to poc in their main universe comic runs??
superhero/comic fans really yuck my yum because so many are WHITE men (emphasis on the white) who are misogynistic and racist chuds with hundreds of characters who fit their preferences shining in the limelight near 24/7 and yet they still feel the need to bash anything that is non-white and/or non-straight male centered.
God, yes. How disgusting it is sometimes to listen to their discussions(sorry for my English, it's not my first language). I myself am of mixed ancestry.
I would like to touch on one topic. I am a little annoyed by people who believe that mixed people are "protected" from racism. I was told in all seriousness that I knew nothing about racism and white people told me this. Mixed people as well as Asians and blacks are subject to racism. We are often forced to choose sides. I had an acquaintance who told me "decide whether you are black or white". It's annoying. I'm mixed I'm both I'm biracial.
Today I burst into tears, because the psychiatrist threatened me that she would forcibly send me to the hospital if I did not go there voluntarily. But I have already been to this hospital. My impressions of it are very negative. Therefore, I am not eager to return there. And also, in order to distract myself, I got carried away with visual novels. I finally completed "blooming panic". I liked XYX. He is the very charm.
I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Mohamad S., who is facing one of the most challenging times of his life. Mohamad is 37 years old and left his homeland in 2015 in search of a safer and better future. He’s a kind, hardworking man, and his small family has always been his greatest priority.
Living abroad, Mohamad has recently endured unimaginable loss and financial strain. Amidst the ongoing conflict in his homeland, his mother passed away, leaving behind his sister and her five young children—the last remaining members of his immediate family.
As the situation worsened, Mohamad managed to help his sister and her children escape to safety in Egypt, covering their immediate needs and securing a temporary refuge for them. Since then, he has been fully responsible for providing everything they need to survive during this transition.
In his efforts to support his family and cope with this devastating loss, Mohamad has found himself deeply in debt. To make matters even more difficult, he recently underwent knee surgery, which limits his ability to return to work for the foreseeable future. This has made it even harder for him to manage his financial responsibilities and the pressing need to provide his family with a stable future.
Mohamad is now working to bring his sister and her five children to join him in Belgium, where he hopes they can find stability and opportunity after all they’ve endured. This transition, however, requires significant resources that he is currently unable to meet alone.
For privacy reasons, we are not sharing Mohamad’s full name, as he has chosen to keep his identity discreet. While he initially refused the idea of asking for help, I couldn’t stand by and watch him struggle alone. I insisted on doing this for him because he deserves a chance to overcome these challenges.
Your contribution will help Mohamad repay the debt incurred during this difficult time, cover ongoing living expenses for his family, and assist with the costs involved in bringing them safely to Belgium.
Mohamad has been a good friend of mine for years, and I’ve always admired his resilience and generosity. Any support, no matter the size, will make an incredible difference in helping Mohamad and his family rebuild their lives after these painful experiences.
Thank you for reading his story and considering helping a man who has always done everything he can for his loved ones.
Adam

I think I have an sexuality crisis, I don't know what to call it. Now I look at girls, admire, but I don't see myself in a relationship with a girl, what's wrong with me. Am I normal? Or not.. I'm sick of my crisis, I'm sick of not understanding myself. I don't see myself with girls at all, although I used to think that I liked girls. Why is everything so complicated? And if I tell people that I'm gay, they'll probably call me straight because I'm transgender.
fandom thinks their sooo progressive because theyre very accepting of queer characters/headcanons. but bffr the racism within fandom is actually more prevelent than we'd like to admit.
Most trans spaces don't include POC, despite the fact that trans POC literally paved the way for us and a lot of y'all aren't ready for that conversation.
Please stop ignoring that white supremacy is a huge core element of radfem/terf ideology.
Like yes they hyperenforce gender roles and stereotypes on all cis women, but it is primarily women of color that they target and accuse of being predatory and "not real women" when they're targeting cis women.
The metrics of "real woman vs trans woman" that terfs love to share are almost all just white eurocentric beauty standards. Small nose, thin fine hair, little/no body hair, petite but somehow curvy, hell I've even seen a post saying skin lightness is a determiner.
Terf/radfem circles are racist at their core. You cannot separate radical feminism from it's violently white supremacist roots. You can't have "anti-racist radical feminism", that's a fucking oxymoron. There is a very clean path from terfs to tradfems/tradwifes, to just straight up conservative republican women.
Yes yes always, terfs are super misogynistic. They hurt all women by forcing them back into the little impossible painful boxes that they claim they're fighting. But one of their biggest targets other than trans women is black women. Not to mention ignoring, discrediting, or just straight up trying to erase all the hard work that black trans women did for queer rights.
Radical feminism is very much transphobic, homophobic, and misogynistic. I'm not saying stop addressing it as such. Don't ever do addressing it as such!
But radical feminism is white supremacy in a coat of pink paint. Please never forget that when talking about how it hurts us all.
Making something queer out of a racist thing isn't the "gotcha" "in your face" thing you people think it is. This is not representation.
Lot of people wanting to save this show where the creator made a real life slave owner gay just because they "see themselves in it" "have to save queer culture". This is not okay, making something queer doesn't remove the problems in it.
I ain't saying what the show is because the fans are too self centered to understand that glorifying racists, even making them queer, isn't okay, and harass anyone who talks about it.
