: Just messing around with some head sketches. Trying to make each head and expression different.

“You’ve gotten fat.” “It’s merely water weight.” Here are a couple of doodles of Marvel’s Red Guardian. This is a mix up of the comic costume and the movie look. His body shape is also a play on the Rachel Weisz’s character calling David Harbour’s Red Guardian fat.

I also like the idea of a fat Captain Russian coming out of retirement.

: Hashtag Cat Owner Problems. You love your little kitty cat with all your heart and all they do is look at you with disgust. I think ever cat owner has this problem.

: Here is a doodle of the character, Harrier “Harry” Du Bois from ZA/UM’s game, ‘Disco Elysium.’ If you haven’t played ‘Disco Elysium,’ go and download it now.

I had a play around with this doodle, trying to get rid as much black line as possible. The result is a much softer feel to the illustration. There is still lots more I want to play around with this method of colouring.

: Dragonball GT has always been Marmite for DragonBall fans, they either love it or hate. There are things to dislike about DBGT, however the design for Super Saiyan 4 Goku is not one of them.

I mainly did this doodle to play around with the colours and light coming off the energy ball aka the KameHameHa.

So I decided to do a doodle of SSJ4 Goku in a western comic style. I’m not totally happy with this image, but it gives me a great excuse to do another one in the future.

: Here’s my doodle of Dark Horse Comics’ Number One from the hit comic and now hit Netflix series, The Umbrella Academy!

This is the comic book version of Luther Hargreeves aka Number One aka Space Boy. Hargreeves grafted Number One’s head to the body of a Gorilla after a mission to Mars went wrong.

Space Boy and The Umbrella Academy is created by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba.

: Here’s the big baddie of the Mushroom Kingdom, Bowser! 

Or King Koopa! 

Or whatever name you wish to call him...

: Here’s my doodle of the evil, fat bastard, powerhouse version of Nintendo's Mario, Wario! Wario was pretty fun to doodle up, for many reasons, the most obvious is because he's a villain and villains are always fun to draw. Since Wario's a bigger, stronger and meaner version of Mario, I was able to play around with his body shape more, for example, giving him some serious guns.

: It’s a doodle of the Thing from Marvel’s Fantastic Four. There he goes, stompin’ his way into action.

: “I am Iron Man!” An old doodle of Marvel’s Iron Man, but recoloured. As I get more confidence using Adobe Illustrator, I like to go back and rework old doodles.

: Here’s a doodle of the arch-enemy for my Star Girl character. Since Star Girl is an intergalactic Indiana Jones styled adventurer it only makes sense that some of her bad guys are Space Nazis. However, their outfits are based on World War I German Uniforms rather than World War II’s.

The working name I have for the lass with blue hair is Elsa. The reason for the name is not because I’m a massive Frozen fan, it’s because Elsa is the name of the Nazi archaeologist from ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,’ Dr. Elsa Schneider.
