First one done...great trip around Birmingham today. HDR editing in Google’s NIK Collection HDR Efex Pro 2. I’m very impressed with this (now free) bit of software! Of course the ever amazing Sony A7 helped a lot!

First couple of shots from the Sony A7. From a couple of weeks ago now, completely forgot I had them. Taken around Spaghetti Junction, Birmingham. The first was taken on my Nikon 70-210 f4 using a Nikon to NEX lens adapter. Bit cumbersome on such a small camera body but well worth it, beautiful lens!

Trip to Paddlewick Pumping Station. First real outing with the Sony A7. Such an amazing camera and the 28-70mm kit lens is a lovely lens if treated right. Can get some very sharp images. All shots as jpeg straight out the camera but with a little tweak and crop. The building itself is outstanding, such detail and work gone into making an industrial building so beautiful! Very cold and wet day but we got our cream tea so it’s not all bad!
