Here is my submission to the Glitch Pokézine

It features Trainer, a result of the Johto guard glitch that shares the sprite and base stats of Magnemite, but not much else. Sort of like the schematics for building a magnemite were messed up along the way or misinterpreted.

lWlVl - 2 days of lo-bit music, art, & interactive work - August 22-23 ⊟

Hot on the heels of Cincinnati’s excellent BRKfest, lWlVl brings chipmusic back to the big stage in NYC.

We don’t even know where to start, so many Tiny favorites will be playing the stage at Villain in Brooklyn: Meishi Smile, SLIME GIRLS, Shirobon, IAYD, Covox, Meneo, and so many more! We’ll feature some of the artists gracing the stage that weekend in the days leading up to the festival!

In addition to some pretty rad musical performers, lWlVl will feature the work of artists like Phillip Stearns, Daniel Temkin, Raquel Meyers, Batsly Adams, and Chromacle in exhibitions and visuals throughout the show. And if you need to relax away from the crowd for a moment, Death by Audio Arcade will provide a collection of indie arcade booths to the festival as well.

You can already purchase tickets over at Brown Paper Tickets, and there’s even an option to join the volunteer army that’s making lWlVl happen if you can’t cover the full price of the festival ticket!

lWlVl: What inspires you to make visuals? Chromacle: For me, making visuals has a lot to do with just creating for the sake of creation, and then finding the parts of what I’ve made that I think look cool, or fit with a particular aesthetic. I’ve really gotten into lo-poly 3D modeling and...
