He only really exists in the first draft of the story before I decided on timelines. After I decided Alberta was supposed to be born before The Now Now, he didn't fit in anymore.
He would've been born before or during plastic beach, then be abandoned there when everything went to shit.
I made him to really show how Murdoc has in fact changed (in my AU at least-). It was supposed to be that they met again at some point and Cognac was rightfully upset about being abandoned. Then Murdoc would be genuinely apologetic and it would show how far he'd come.
He's also really just there to encompass the feeling of watching someone change, just not for you. Like seeing your parent raise your sibling so much kinder than they raised you.
I had a lot more i wanted to do with him, he was even originally part of Delorean's disappearance. But I really didn't know how to put everything together, so now we just get some random comics when I want them :p

As for powers, her only abilities are a being able to 'read' a soul (basically telling if someone's intentions are good or not) and having a small pair of wings that she can hide at will.
Being half-demon, Alberta gets queasy around Christian paraphernalia, including blessed areas like churches and cemeteries.
She's doesn't really know much about most of her family but she did meet Hannibal (and his family I made up for him) at Sebastian's funeral.
She doesn't really know her mother, Delorean, since she disappeared the day she was born.
Speaking of the day she was born, her birthday is 6/6/2016. Making her 10 as of this year! Yes, her and Murdoc share a birthday (Mostly because im too lazy to calculate their age differences).
Some of her main interests as a child involved bugs and drawing any animal she sees
Thats just some info on Alberta I wanted to share. There's some other random stuff I could share but I think I'll make comics for those.
Delorean/Delora is (obviously) a demom, which is why Alberta has red eyes. Delora isn't in the picture anymore because she's basically trapped in Hell now.
I just really like the idea of Murdoc mingling with demons casually. Sounds like something he'd do :p

“Spider-Man?!” Nelly shouts out, sitting up instantly.
“What gave it away?” The figure in red chuckled, adjusting the web shooters on his wrist.
“But you're not- you're not REAL!” Nelly retorts, standing up and giving him an accusatory point.
“Don't know, I feel pretty real to me” Spider-Man shrugs, clearly not taking this seriously.
“Can it, Peter!” Nelly scoffs, leaning against the tree behind her.
Just as the spider hero was about to give another quip, he paused the eyes on his mask going wide.
“Who-” he began, before Nelly held up her hand to shut him up.
“Don't even try” she exasperated “I know you're Peter Parker, that's like Spider-Man 101”
Peter grabs at the bottom of his mask like Nelly had just ripped it off him.
“How did you- WHY DO YOU KNOW THAT?!” He chided, not exactly angry but definitely not as chipper as he had been.
“Because you're a CHARACTER! You aren't supposed to be real!” Nelly grumbles, pinching at her arm again in an attempt to wake herself from this dream.
The two stood there arguing for a minute or two, trading jabs at the other's rebuttals. But all too suddenly, Nelly could hear a heavy static set in her head. The sound got louder and louder, pain spreading through all her cells as she collapsed on the floor. She screamed out, clutching her ears. Thankfully, the moment was gone as quick as it came, and Peter stood beside her with an outstretched hand.
“You're….glitching. You're not from this world are you?” He worried, pulling her up from the ground with ease.
“What gave it away?” Nelly grumbles, her cells still dazed from the glitch.
Peter pressed what felt like a ring of paper into her hand, taking off his mask to look her in the eye.
“That's a day-pass.” Peter explains, pulling a pair of round rimmed glasses from somewhere in his suit.
“Are we going to Disneyland or something?” Nelly jokes, grinning at the small snicker that Peter gave in return.
“It'll stop you from getting your cells flipped inside out while I take you to the Spider-Society and get you home”
Nelly blinked, trying to remember where she'd heard that word before. She followed closely behind Peter as he led her to a tall white building.
The two walked inside and Peter grabbed her arm tight. Nelly was about to pull back when the floor beneath them started to move upwards, flipping them both upside-down. While Peter stood just fine, feet practically stapled to the ground, Nelly flipped over hanging on by Peter's arm.
“DON'T DROP ME DON'T DROP ME-” Nelly begged. The two eventually got flipped right side up, but Nelly still held onto his arm with her eyes closed shut.
When she did finally open her eyes, she almost gasped out at the sight. Sure, the architecture was fun and the building was huge, but what really shocked her was the people inside.
Thousands upon thousands of Spider-Men and women walked around inside just the lobby. Nelly was practically jumping for joy, flapping her hands and stomping her feet.
Peter led her deeper into the building, past rooms of Spider-People training, eating, and just generally socializing. They stopped in front of a wide room filled with tech. Nelly stepped forward, trying her best not to touch anything.
“Random girl, this is Margo. Margo, meet the random girl I met outside” Peter beamed, gesturing a hand towards a girl around Nelly's age dressed in a techy, purple spider-suit.
“Peter you can't– She's an anomaly isn't she?” Margo sighs, pinching her nose bridge.
“My name is Nellyana” Nelly speaks up from across the room, half busy messing with the color settings on a random holo-screen.
“That's not a real name.” Margo says, already booting up a machine. A large, spider-like mechanism descends from the ceiling, long spindly arms reaching toward the ground.
“That's your ticket home” Peter chirped, pushing Nelly forward. Nelly stumbled into the machine, standing like a cowboy at high noon.
The thing scanned her, then Margo pressed a barrage of buttons. The machine began to weave a web of light around her, her body phasing in and out of reality.
“Bye Nellyana!” Peter called “Don't come back!”
With a small huff of laughter, Nelly finally dissipated, the machine pulling back into the ceiling. Peter gave Margo a pat on the shoulder, turning back towards the door.
Just as he was about to step away-
“OOOF-” Nelly grunted, falling back onto the platform.
Both Margo and Peter stood over her now, Margo pulling her back up by her shoulders.
“Why didn't she go back? Is there something wrong with the machine?” Peter questions, stepping up to the control panel. He stares at the screen, at the spot where Nelly's destination, her home dimension number, was supposed to be displayed.
“It's…blank.” Peter exclaimed, turning back to the two girls.
“Blank?!” Margo repeated “It's never been blank! That's not possible!”Nelly stood beside the two, grabbing at her fingers in a nervous pattern.
“What does that mean? I- I can't go home?” she quivers, knees practically buckling at just the thought.
“No- surely not. We…we'll have to…ask Miguel. And he won't be happy” Peter murmured, leading Nelly down the single dark hallway in the entire building.
“Miguel?” Nelly questioned on the way “Who's Miguel? Is he Spider-Man too?”
“Spider-Man 2099. This is his dimension, his building. We all work with him, though sometimes it feels like we're working under him.” Peter grumbles.
“2099? I think I read a comic about him” Nelly admits, walking through the dark hall, its walls lined with servers and complex tech she'd never seen before.
The two finally reached the main ‘office’ this Miguel guy lingered in. Nelly looked up, practically blinded by the light of the monitors.
A tall, muscled man stood in the center platform, facing away from them. This man bordered on beastly, claws flexing on his fingers. The man turned, staring down at Nelly with sharp red eyes. Anxiety crept up Nelly's neck, filling her head with red-hot fear.

A portal.
That's all she could remember.
A swirling mess of orange hexagons. How it materialized beneath her like a sinkhole out for blood. She fell through before she even saw the light of it under her.
Now she was soaring through tunnels, flying through a space that seemed almost cosmic. Without anything else to do, she just pulled her arms and legs close to herself, panicked eyes whipping back and forth.
“Did I fall asleep???” Nelly shuttered “Did I hit my head too hard on the bus this morning??? What the hell is this?!”. She clutched at her head, trying to remember if she knew how to handle something like this.
“Falling- what are you supposed to do if you're falling?!” Nelly called out into the wisps of purple and white around her.
“You- you're- supposed to relax! How can I do that at a moment like this?!” She grumbles, loosening her limbs in an attempt to follow the only protocol she knew.
Far out in front of her, she finally saw a new light. A solid white, almost like heaven's gates.
“I DIED?! HOW DID I DIE?! I'M TOO YOUNG!” Nelly bawled, smacking her hands into her eyes. But the light only got closer, pulling her into its warm embrace.
Just as she relaxed, almost accepting whatever was happening to her, she was spewed out onto the ground.
Nelly fell back onto concrete, the rough, searing slab breaking her from her self imposed trance. She stood up slowly, rubbing off the pebbles imprinted into her legs by the fall.
Glancing up at the sky, she could almost tell where she was. It seemed like New York city, but way too clean and polished. Each building was the same glinting white monolith with big paned windows.
Nelly took her first steps forward, legs still shaky as a newborn fawn's. She walked and walked, taking in deep breaths of surprising clean air.
Cars that passed her by seemed to hover off the ground, motorbikes and scooters doing the same. Nelly wrecked her brain trying to think of logical reasons why there were flying cars casually rushing through a Coruscant version of New York city.
“I love your outfit” Called an older woman walking past. “Very vintage!”
Nelly paused mid-step, foot still dangling in the air.
“Vintage??? I bought this shirt last week-” Nelly huffed, looking over towards a shop with TVs(?) displayed in its windows. She quickly crossed the street, rushing towards the store.
‘CNN News: June 14th, 2099’ the screens read, each showing the same video of some woman speaking at a lectern.
“99?!” Nelly shouts, getting stares from passersby. She pressed her hand over her mouth, holding in the rest of her shock.
“There's no way I got reverse back to the future-ed!” She denied, shaking her head furiously. Nelly just kept walking, stumbling forward, just trying to find anything familiar.
After trudging on through the pearly white city for what felt like hours, she finally came across something she knew.
The same old central park, though much less taken care of then she remembered. Overgrown vines creeped over old red maples, grass grew up to her knees, and leaves lingered on the ground. The area seemed forgotten and unkept, an odd sight considering how important this area was supposed to be.
Nelly leaned back against a plane tree, sitting in its shadow, reaching her fingers into the rays of sun peeking through its leaves.
“This is the weirdest dream I've ever had” Nelly supposed as she felt the warmth of the sun on her skin.
Too real to be a dream
“How do I wake myself up?” She questions, pinching at her cheeks. After pinching her skin raw for about 4 minutes, Nelly eventually gave up, laying back on the dirt behind her.
“This has to be a dream” She whines out, pushing her peach pink hair out of her eyes. The sound close to that of a rope snapping soon hit her ears, followed by a thud, then footsteps.
“Aren't you a bit young to be out in abandoned parks by yourself?” Called a man in a bright red suit, standing over her with a quizzical expression on his mask.
Found a nice little online chart for Gorillaz OCs so I HAD to use Alberta.
She's (obviously) Murdocs kid so shes pretty close with 2-D and Noodle (though Noodle kinda views her as just a little kid sometimes). I do like to imagine she has quite a nice relationship with Russell. As for Ace, shes never personally known him as she was quite young when he joined. But from what shes heard from her dad, she HATES him. As for Del, she only knows him from Russell's stories and various anecdotes from other band members. (And why would she know Paula at all??)
