where to find me.

ooc: unfortunately, after a couple months now with nothing from my muse and really no inspiration, i’ve decided to officially close down this blog.
it’s been a blast being a part of the gravity falls roleplaying community -- especially being my first time as a part of one and writing publicly for all my followers to see, not just for my rp partner ( which, i have to admit, i was hella worried about until i realised you’re all cinnamon rolls ). getting to roleplay this gross, trashy asshole demon was awesome, especially where i could give him this human-esque form and surprisingly, quickly shifting into this canon divergent version of himself that i had fun creating by meshing him together with all these different crazy and evil villains i knew and took inspiration from. i got to meet so many awesome and sweet people, improve my writing and make some really good friends on here while screaming about gravity falls but. i feel it’s time for me to move on from bill.
but that doesn’t mean i’m not quitting rping completely !! you can still find me on here ( since i pick up muses quite a bit lo l ) and. i’ll be making another post as a small direction as to where you can find me if you’d like to thread with me and my other muses or. simply stalk from afar !!
@itrhymeswithtable:
Mabel frowned at him. “That’s not ‘cause I lost. That’s just dumb luck. It’s not my fault,” she retorted. She opened up her book again. “If we’re just gonna make jabs at each other, I’m gonna do my homework.” she said. “I thought maybe we could just chat about stuff but I guess I was wrong.”
A chuckle and a dismissive wave of his hand. ❝ Whatever numbs the b l o w, kid. ❞
He then huffed like a disgruntled child when she started to ignore him again, picking her book to continue her ‘ homework ‘. Falling silent, a slight pout pulled at his lips, his jabs clearly not getting him anywhere. Fine then, a chat surely wouldn’t hurt too much; he was incredibly bored anyway.
Sighing, he sank ever further into the bean bag, closing his eyes. ❝ A l r i g h t, Mabel. What do you want to c h a t about? ❞ Bill asked, his voice a drawl.
Send me ‘SWAP!’ for our muses to switch bodies for one thread!
Bonus points if they hate each other!
@kellsxbells:
Directions. Well. That was… a surprise. Then again, this was a Bill she was dealing with… she should have known to expect the unexpected. As much as she endeavored to remain a subtle fly on the wall, just a quietly observing ghost in the midst of the party, it seemed that was not in the cards.
Truthfully, she had very little to lose here. If she found this Bill particularly infuriating or unnerving, vanishing would be easier than the effort it took to get here, and trapping her would take an amount of power that she wasn’t sure he would be willing to expend. She was a small fish, comparatively speaking.
Kells had conveniently put the potentially disastrous side-effects of her traveling to the back of her mind. There was little she could do now about the astral vapors she would leave behind, wispy traces of her own dimension that could be followed if one put their mind to it– so… clearly, there was no point to simply cutting her losses, not now that she’d been noticed. If she left now, she wouldn’t sate her curiosity, and neither would she protect her dimension. At least if she stayed, she stood… some chance of making peace.
That was her rationalization, at least, as she drifted in the throne room’s general direction. No particular hurry. Burning curiosity or no, she still wanted to get an eyeful of the rest of this devilish temple– and rushing to meet him was not on her agenda. She had no desire to look that desperate.
In due time, however, she arrived. Fashionably late and dwelling in that ghostly interim state that she hoped would conceal her from the rest of the occupants of the pyramid (gods only knew meeting one of these demons at a time was enough), Kells leaned a shoulder against the door frame and… found herself hesitating. A party had never been quite her scene. She simply had no place at such a venue.
Black-hole eyes skimmed over the inhabitants of the room, pointed teeth biting the inside of her cheek. And now here she was. Right where he wanted her.
She couldn’t help but feel she’d walked into a spider’s web– especially as she looked up at the throne itself.
She was getting closer, the slightest of wisps molting off of her brushing against the palace, and by definition, on him, tempting him to explore and see what her alternate dimension to his own was like, but he left it be. He had more important matters to attend to here; Dimensions didn’t just liberate themselves.
His piercing gaze flickered upwards from the rim of his goblet when the large doors started to move, revealing his wandering guest. He watched as her black eyes gazed around the Throne Room with clear uncertainty and consternation, not realising she had stumbled unexpectedly into a party.
Having some semblance of manners for his guest and deciding that he'd much rather talk privately where Ludwig wasn’t smacking his jaws together incredibly loudly in slow motion, a sharp snap of his fingers resumed the normal speed in the Throne Room as they were transported to the grand Reception Room.
Soft lights gave off a warm, golden glow while a fire crackled handsomely in the fireplace, offering a relaxed feeling far away from the raging, loud party. Lavish paintings hung from the walls and two large sofas sat in an inviting manner, an intricate patterned rug placed in the middle of the room.
Relaxing in his armchair, he nursed his drink lazily in one hand, the other motioning towards the cabinet behind him containing every alcoholic drink you could ever wish and want in the multiverse.
❝ Care for a d r i n k? Nothing’s off l i m i t s. ❞ Bill offered the kelpie with a grin.
psa: if you ever send me a meme & i don’t answer it, it’s never because i’ve seen it & gone “oh, it’s them”. if i can’t think of a response to a meme right away, i usually keep it in my inbox, or save it to my drafts, & then wait until i get an idea to answer it. or sometimes if i just can’t think of anything at all, or a few people sent in the same one ( sentence memes ) and i can’t think of enough ways to make each unique, then i’ll just end up deleting it. but that never means i don’t want to roleplay with you, or that you can never send another meme in, or ask to thread. just so you buttercups know !!
@sweetgarlictreats:
Marina made a little face, her eyes scrunching up adorably as she wrinkled her nose. “Y e a h– my dad is pretty much the LIVING EMBODIMENT of the stuff. And he makes me food, so I pretty much starve to death half the time. Butanyway–” and here she stood on her tippy-toes, attempting to get even closer to the tall, tall, very tall man– “My parents aren’t necessarily around.”
With that, an idea struck her. Setting her basket safely onto the ground, she removed her shoes and began to climb onto the guy, giggling softly as she stared up at him. At this point, she was only looking for fun, as it came by that street corner in sparse, small doses. And as rebellious as she was, she didn’t leave the corner unless she could help it.
Managing to settle semi-comfortably with her arms around his neck, she reported, “Say, have you ever seen a VAMPIRE?”
He kept an eye on the girl's every move as he listened with a half-bored expression, only really paying attention to half of what she was saying. Only when he noticed her taking her shoes off did his brows furrow in utmost confusion. ❝ Hey, what are yo-- ❞
Like some kind of spider monkey, she started to climb up his leg all the way up until she was hanging onto his neck, legs wrapped tight around his torso. Actually shocked for the first time in centuries, he stood there awkwardly, arms not knowing what to do with themselves.
Bill stared at her for the longest time before exhaling deeply, slipping his hands into his trouser pockets. He would gain nothing from killing her and she would no doubt clamp onto him like a stubborn leech if he tried to pick her up by the scruff and dump her back on the ground, so, he left her there.
Besides, with no support, she'd eventually slip down from the strain of keeping herself up.
❝ Yes, I've seen v a m p i r e s, kid. Met s o m e too. And They’re n o t h i n g like the t e r r i b l e cliché you have hiding away inside his c a s t l e, if that’s what your question's l e a d i n g to. ❞
I was created to strip lungs of their breath. to destroy pretty little things and burn them to the ground. to bring the world to its knees and hear my name spoken only in fearful whispers. I was made to be a monster.
@itrhymeswithtable:
Mabel put down her pencil, turning to look at him as he walked around the room. “I wasn’t planning on thanking you.” she said, leaning against the wall by her bed. She crossed her legs, closing the book. It was so dull, it could hardly keep her focus.
Of course, she immediately started to regret calling on Bill as he talked about Dipper. Her brow furrowed and she unconsciously clenched a hand. “Dipper’s fine. You should know that since you’re in my head. I thought you could hear all the things I heard. And it’s not like you have much to do now.”
She crossed her arms, eyes trained on him. “Maybe patterns repeat themselves, but you’re trapped. How’s that treating you? Defeat’s gotta sting, I’d think. Of course, I wouldn’t know. Every time we’ve faced each other, you’ve lost.”
Bill just smiled in return at her bristled state, her full attention now on him instead of on her homework. His reply rolled off his tongue in a pleasant lilt. ❝ Charmed, t r u l y. Fortunately, I wasn’t expecting you to. ❞
Her nettled attitude was predictable when he merely mentioned Dipper’s name; the muscles in her jaw tensing and twitching under the strain, her hand balled into a fist, nails forming crescents in rolls of flesh.
But, she was right, as much as he hated it. He only knew as much as she did in his current position, trapped inside the mind of a thirteen year old girl with no idea how to escape.
Exhaling, he gracefully fell onto her pink bean bag near her bed. ❝ As much as I h a t e it, you’re r i g h t; I’m limited n o w to only know what you know, which isn’t m u c h. ❞ Bill snarked. ❝ But, that doesn’t work for what I a l r e a d y know; and Pine Tree keeps the truth from you. I mean, h o n e s t l y, when would he have told you his plans on staying in Gravity Falls with F o r d s y if you hadn’t been l i s t e n i n g with the walkie talkies? ❞ Bill pointed out, a questioning hum in his tone.
And then she just had to pick at his demise, rubbing more salt into fresh, raw wounds as if being trapped with her wasn’t enough. He frowned, anger boiling in his stomach. He wanted revenge, the itch for it unbearable. He wanted her to suffer in the most agonising way, to feel the pain he had in those last moments before being smashed into pieces.
But he didn’t.
Because his impatience, his hastiness that had blinded him to the tricks he should have spotted had landed him in this mess, and - stripped of his full powers - his reach of influence and control was further behind then it was before. So, he’d wait. After all, he was very, very old friends with patience.
❝ If I recall c o r r e c t l y, Shooting Star, ❞ Bill replied after composing himself, voice smug. ❝ I’m not the only one f e e l i n g the s t i n g of defeat here. ❞ And to prove his point, he ticked off the key events off his clawed fingers one by one. ❝ You were b e t r a y e d, sent home alone and later find a highly psychopathic and c h a r m i n g demon as c o m p a n y for the rest of your limited life-span. Not the b e s t hand life’s dealt you, but hey, ❞ Bill shrugged nonchalantly, arms resting behind his head, a smug smile playing on his lips as he sank further into the bean bag. ❝ w h a t do I know? ❞
Deal With a Devil
@nicxtiine:
Her gaze focused intently on his as he spoke, the hair prickling delicately on the back of her neck.
The cyan flames that burst from his clawed hands drew her attention immediately, her heart pounding as the sudden gravity of the situation she was in began to weigh upon her.
The pallid artist shook the anxiety from her head before a confident grin curled across her lips. “I accept, Boss.”
Her pallid, tattooed arm extended out to tightly grip the flaming hand and shake it firmly before the conflagration spread from the clawed appendage upwards to violently consumer Henrietta’s hand to the wrist.
Her brows furrowed tightly as the insignia of the demonic entity she had summoned began to burn into the flesh of the back of her left hand. The burning sensation quickly intensified, smoldering and charring the delicate pale flesh of the artist’s hand until a distinct triangular mark with His all seeing eye branded in a permanent contrast between her milky white skin the dark, angry, red flesh of the now cauterized wound that would serve as the sigil of their Unholy Deal.
The pain was excruciating, to say the least, so much so that her attention was focused entirely on the flame that was fully engulfing her hand, rather than the crackling of pale blue electricity crackling violently up her arm, towards her heart to supplant a portion of Bill’s own Essence within her in exchange for a portion of her soul he deemed useless.
And then suddenly, she felt nothing.
Her eyes opened weakly to gaze into those of the demon who stood smirking before her, her bottom lip trembling as were her knees before her legs finally gave out and she fell to the hard, tar and gravel roof beneath her feet.
“F…. Fuck….” She managed to gasped, looking through those same half lidded eyes focused intently on the tiny sparks of electricity being generated uncontrollable at her fingertips.
Once her gaze finally managed to rake back upward, across the tall slender form of the Infamous Bill Cipher. “Wh-What should do I do now?” She spoke softly, still shaken. The only other creatures she’d managed to summon in her lifetime of dabbling had been the actually quite annoying ghost of Edgar Allen Poe and some small, crying and screeching, pile of genetic waste made up of what mostly seemed to be corn niblets and pieces of dead weathermen that she, unfortunately, was forced to quickly put ‘out of it misery’.
Bill’s smirk grew wide when those two words graced his ears, two words that signified a successful deal.
Gripping her hand firmly in his own, claws bit into her skin when they shook. However, instead of letting go afterwards, he held onto her hand.
❝ This m i g h t sting. ❞
Murmuring Enochian under his breath, he started to etch his symbol into her skin, easily tearing through layers of fragile flesh. Blood quickly started to surface, only to clot when he waved it away with his other hand.
Can’t have his new Left Hand bleeding out on him so soon now, hmm?
With one word, the tamed fire that licked her arm started to freely eat at the raw, scarred flesh, setting it in permanently. He didn’t flinch when she gripped his hand so hard that her knuckles were bone-white, nor at her screams that pierced the monochrome skies when a fraction of his powers replaced half of her soul.
And then he let go when the the transfer was complete. He watched her, silent, as she stumbled and collapsed before him, exhausted, her breathing labored. A single eyebrow cocked upwards only slightly at her question, her voice coming out quiet and croaky.
❝ I’ll s e n d the m e s s a g e s to you that need to be h i d d e n into your p a i n t i n g s. As for when I n e e d full control of your h a n d? Well, you’ll k n o w. Apart from that, live your l i m i t e d life as you would n o r m a l l y, Artifex, and p r a c t i c e on those new powers of yours, o t h e r w i s e they will start to d e c i d e whether you are w o r t h y of l i s t e n i n g to or not. ❞
“So this dream demon referenced the Aztec god Xolotl in reversed speech in the finale?”
“I guess I’ll look up what Xolotl is like, oh, looks like he’s associated with dogs -”
“Oh my God -”
“Do you know what this means?”
“That Bill Cipher…”
“…is actually kind of…”
“…a pervert himself…”
“…not to mention how Ford drew Bill’s illustration in the Journals…when Ford himself is canonically shown to not be connected with any ‘ladies’ in particular…”
“…and if Bill Cipher is Xolotl, imagine what things might have been like if he were in human form during that time…”
“…especially if Bill was worshipped as ‘a god in human form’, or received captives as slaves, and eventual sacrifices…”
“…so all of the people drawing Bill as a flirty, attractive human are kind of right.”
Okay guys! I know this is going to disappoint a lot of you but I would just like to say that the reversed code is *A*-x-o-l-o-t-l! Like the cute smiley salamander! Otherwise, this is a really cool idea. 😊
According to sources online, “axolotl” means “of Xolotl”; Xolotl itself means “(water) dog”. Xolotl’s name is attributed to both the Nahuatl (Aztec) names for maize (corn) and the Mexican Hairless Dog as well. All three are forms Xolotl took in Mayan and Aztec legends.
Heh heh that makes sense. But since Alex Hirsch has shown that he likes the animal in the past (he responded with a picture of an axolotl when someone asked a spoiler in one of the AMAs, though I can’t remember which one), I would assume that he was referencing that.
…tHE SHOW MAY BE OVER BUT IM NOT
friend: i just thought of a new AU—
me:
Give my character a "character shaming" label
Entry 1:
“ The ‘mun’ has just made friends with yet another Bill today, despite my repeated warnings not to. Unbelievable. “
Bill hovered - upside down - just near enough Ford’s shoulder to see the swirly writing on the page in his Journal. He couldn’t help but laugh right next to his ear when he had read it. ❝ Aww, w h a t can I say, Fordsy? I just have a m a g n e t i c personality. You can’t b l a m e your dear mun for loving t h i s. ❞ Bill drawled, a pleasant lilt to his voice as he waved his hands to indicate himself, a smug grin on his face.
