One of the Israeli military's primary missions is to limit Gazans access to food. They have kept tight control of available food in Gaza for a long time.
Here's a quote from 2006:
Israel's policy was summed up by Dov Weisglass, an adviser to Ehud Olmert, the Israeli Prime Minister, earlier this year. 'The idea is to put the Palestinians on a diet, but not to make them die of hunger,' he said. The hunger pangs are supposed to encourage the Palestinians to force Hamas to change its attitude towards Israel or force Hamas out of government.

The Israeli government has been controlling the supply of food in Gaza since (at least) 2006. The Israeli government knew about the possibility of mass starvation since 2006. They claimed it was not their goal at the time.
They explicitly stated that their intent was collective punishment -- denying civilians access to food in order to extract political concessions. This is allegedly illegal under international human rights law (but those have never meant anything).
More recently, Israeli government ministers, who were government ministers at the time, have said this explicitly.

This is an important weapon Israel uses to commit genocide.
Their intent is clear, as quoted above.
Their actions to enforce starvation are to prevent food from entering, to blockade Gaza from the sea, to attack and kill people delivering food (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Central_Kitchen_aid_convoy_attack) and to slaughter starving people who are waiting for the minimal food that is available.
Every US politician knew or should have known about this.
The information has been easily available. The Israeli lies disputing this have been obviously false.
If you know any Palestinians or follow Palestinian social media, you have heard about this (from many, many, many angles).
Every Zionist who defends Israel knows all of this too. Some will plead ignorance, but they have no such excuse. If they were ignorant, they were willfully ignorant.
It's past time to stop listening to the genocide deniers.
