something i love about night vale is how... positive (?) all of the weirdness is. like sure, there are plenty of moments of cynicism and horror that occur throughout the narrative, but so much more of it is infused with this sense of humor and just a joy of living that makes it comforting.
night vale will say stuff like "the future is inevitable and it is constantly arriving" and yeah it scares me a bit but at the same time when i hear it from cecil's cheerful voice. i feel like maybe it'll be alright. i can get through this. i'm not alone.
