What I’m most unexcited for is that his fans will be like “lando beat max at his prime” but he didn’t. The car clearly did (also max won the most races, poles, and had the most laps lead). McLaren secured the constructors three months roughly before lando won. Three months. Lando could’ve, and SHOULDVE won the championship around that same time. He should have been able to do what max did in 2023. But he didn’t and couldn’t. Why? Because he isn’t max.

You can say McLaren was only .4 faster and that’s solely because max was able to pull everything out of that redbull and did things that should not have been possible. And that doesnt even mention all the unreliability in the car and the internal problems redbull were having.

In the end, this is an incredibly mediocre championship and people will mostly remember how max brought down the largest gap ever from 104 points to 2.

Ver5tappen will happen next year if the superstition about the winner of Abu Dhabi is to be trusted🙂‍↕️

the greatest comfort is that this is what his championship feels like. unearned, stale, fraud, gifted. this is the legacy he will carry with him, this is the stain on his wdc for the rest of his life. he has to live with this wdc being his because he was gifted a position after a bad pit stop, after begging and pleading and whining on the radio. people booing him because he never deserved it. and max looming over it all as the absolute best this season. this is what he has to live with. that’s his legacy and coming to think of it? it’s exactly what he deserves. congratulations.

An hour ahead of the last Grand Prix, i believe most of us can agree on a few things:

● Max had a monumental comeback, worthy of history books, even if he doesn't win the WDC

● McLaren had the fastest car, despite what everyone else tried to convince you

● Oscar was completely mistreated by McLaren, and they never wanted him to win. Papaya rules were never equal, and neither were the punishments dished out for breaking them

● Lando could have only won this WDC with the help of this team and their calls. He cannot win it on his own merit, and he will go down as the lamest champion of this decade if he manages to get on podium today.

I find it funny how Norris fans think verstappies hate Norris for no reason lol.

Your driver has been shading Max since last year after he finally got the taste of a win. He talked trash about max several times, his little dig that maybe y'all don't remember but verstappies do.

Let me not get started at the name calling and saying Max is a dangerous driver. Saying to the press how his friendship with Max is done if he doesn't apologize.

Then again his silly comments this year about Max in Miami, which even Oscar was weirded out.

So no verstappies don't hate that man for no reason, there's so much to not like about him. Max is just a better person and that's why he's tolerating him and respecting whatever friendship they still have left.

Just imagine cute soft omega Charles, who looks at Max with his big doe eyes, biting his tender pink lips. Max is confused, blushing at his attention, because he remembers the little menace that terrorized him throughout his whole karting career.
