Game of Thrones Conquest Rant
I gotta question! You and a group of people spend time together, talk daily, play games and just have all around good vibes going. That’s cool and all but what if you get in a bit of trouble, they see it, some, all, the beginning or the end, doesn’t matter. They saw it. But no one says anything to you about it. You go off! Let me tell you what happened:
I play this game called Game of Throne Conquest. It’s fun, a bit of a money pit but it’s worth it, especially when you find cool people. It was all fun and games until today, today was, for lack of better words, the straw that broke the camel’s back. I was attacked 20 times by one player and when I told the allegiance I was in, one of them said “yea I saw” another one joked about putting up a shield (which I did but never got a notification that it was down-whole other story). What made me snap tho was when people said “we can’t watch your keep 24/7″
Like sir, I did not ask for that. The whole point of and allegiance was to have a group of people to have your back, let you know when shit happens. We’re all on Discord together 24/7 and in the past people have been told but now all of a sudden when it’s me no one says shit. But we’re supposed to be a makeshift family right. I simply said fuck that, fuck this fake family, I already have a real fake family and left. I made sure tho to let them know this exact thing is why people leave.
That allegiance makes you feel welcomed and cared about when you join but they will not have your back if you’re not at least at keep 20. 19 and under, you’re on your own basically. If you claim to be my family, blood or not, you gotta have my back the same way I’ll have yours. I give my all to family, it’s probably the most important thing to me.
All that being said, I like the game, I have zero intentions of leaving in the foreseeable future. Only thing I would change about it if I could would be players being able to attack other players, if at all possible I’d make it so that it would be balanced better, you 20k troops can still attack my 5k but you would lose something too, make it so people think twice about attacking for little to no reason. But then again, it is a war game and war isn’t balanced so why should the game be?
