Akutagawa grew frustrated because he was getting more embarrassed as time passed. Not even daring to look in Atsushi's direction, he trained his tired eyes on his sister who had a smile dancing on her eyes. "Why would you say that?!". Dazai laughed and encouraged Atsushi to say something.
