@cinemataylor
I am so happy for the people who get to hear Long Live but I’m also jealous as fuck
i do find it so funny how much filipinos dominated the singaporean eras tour dates but also!!! i’m still mad that all of southeast asia got one tour location. sure they added more dates but we are many and we are insane
also, on the note of olivias sophomore album having a similar aesthetic to her freshman album. i actually am extremely excited about it because if theres one thing ive learned from taylor, theres a long, gruesome, historic pressure for women musicians to “reinvent themselves” every couple years just to hold the attention of the public. i think its so awesome that a) we’ve moved forward enough that not all women always have to do that and b) olivia is a badass gen z-er who is like fuck tradition fuck sexism im gonna do what i want and style my albums how i want! its very exciting to me
this is what im saying
her
the eras tour scammers aren’t even trying anymore bc why is a post about someone needing help securing tickets for sg filled with white people who “now have spare tickets” because they “had a change of plans” it’s not even on sale yet!
i just realized that my two outfits to the queer clubs last pride are v diametrically opposed i love being nonbinary
taylor is not coming to my country this is officially my villain origin story
not to use this moment to spread An Agenda but i think people need to stop subscribing to the idea that relationships have to last forever to be meaningful and that relationships that end are a waste of time
I used to defend Taylor Swift from the haters and now I just defend Taylor Swift from like 80% of her own fans
LGBT infighting is so ridiculous when you apply it to real world situations. Imagine if a queer person was being harassed on the street and someone went, "IDK. They're (insert "problematic" identity here) so I don't want to help them :/" like who is this helping? How is this worth your time? We are family. Get it together.
“when I was re-recording Fearless, I fell in love with this song again” what a fake fan lmfao, some of us (me) have been obsessed with jump them fall since 2009 and have never fallen out of love with it
just thinking about cologne by beabadoobee and the unrelenting pressure to be desired and the generations of girls with low self-esteem who’ll see salvation in sexual attraction
affectionately, sometimes it feels like taylor nation is run by a pair of pigeons pecking at a keyboard
but when you realize that the Lover house is just a succession of different colored sets from the 1967 movie the valley of the dolls and that the house is a 1960s dollhouse and historically what that all means for taylor to be locked away in secrecy with her lover because it’s unsafe for them to ever be noticed or perceived by the public, their own neighbors, their own family. the Lover house is a set for a tragedy and she might’ve burned it down but that doesn’t stop taylor from using a replica of the flowered casting couch in Sharon Tate’s living room set in her music video for lavender haze which also has the same carpeting and the same exact television… spoiler her character’s name is Jennifer North and she doesn’t survive the valley of the dolls.
i think marjorie was always a 100% yes to taylor to perform. for her to hear her grandmothers vocals in a stadium of 70k people has to be the most amazing feeling. taylor got her passion for music from her grandma and is living out majorie’s biggest dreams every night. also worth mentioning is how surreal it has to be for andrea to hear it live and know that her mother and daughter are basically performing together despite losing her mother years ago.
Someday you’ll turn your radio on I hope it takes you back to that place
