NGL I've been developing a certain compulsion. But also I started practicing piano and found it stops any negative thoughts. I'd like to think whatever trauma Kris endured as a small child, piano is their outlet.

Maybe this is a bit too self-indulgent and only caters to me specifically but I think artists should be allowed do draw without anxiety over a made-up audience.

Or maybe I should stop projecting my own insecurities on a character where the entire game points to the player and Kris being 2 completely different things and Kris is their own person lol

btw I want everyone to know the antidepressant meds that I use for my PMDD seem to not be as effective as they once were so I may need to up the dosage... that being said this week was really rough for me so this helped

something something I'm feeling incredibly dysphoric today and to me Kris kinda represents being trans (of course they're canonically nonbinary but like) none of the monsters in hometown are hostile or mean towards them but because they themselves are not human or have never met another human besides Kris they tend to unintentionally "other" Kris.

I have many cis friends who love me but none of them will ever really understand me and it pains me to say but I get a sorts disconnect from them in a way that can't really be fixed because I'm trans

And not to mention the whole player controlling Kris their body is not their own and Noelle has even pointed out how when we possess Kris we force them to sound different she describes it as "them having a voice box or like their voice is coming out of a speaker" (paraphrasing here)

Every time I speak it's not my voice I try and figure out ways to alter it but it's always like I'm speaking through a feminine filter

Obviously this probably isn't what Toby Fox intended when making Deltarune but as a nonbinary person this way of viewing Kris resonates with ME specifically
