#cinna screams about dnd #Mayari #back for my annual inge commission shjsbfshdvhsvfvsbrbsvehejd #THANKS INGE AS ALWAYS ITS FUCKING GORGEOUS I LOVE IT #I’ll never fail to be amazed by your art #so Maya’s multiclassed into paladin around April last year heheheheh #and also she’s died a couple times now but like it’s fine she’s sharing a body with her gay angel gf now #and it mostly looks like her own original body save for now she’s got permanent physical wings #and the fact I guess that it’s more like a manifestation of a body than a real one and with each task completed for her god it just #fades more and more into the afterlife and will eventually just properly disappear #I do miss her original spectral aasimar wings but #I can’t deny that having permanent wings as very useful #the DM is projecting that we’re coming to the end of the campaign and have maybe 3 or 4 months left before the end which is #quite bittersweet hahahaha aaaaaaa #so this is probably the last Maya commission I’ll get #honestly it’s been a fun journey to be a player again and I’m SO ridiculously in love with her I’m gonna miss her a lot #but DMing is still def more my jam hahahah

#cinna screams about dnd #I’m back for my annual Inge commission THANK YOU INGE #ok so I actually finally get to play Mayari now #I joined a online game back in May #SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE I wanted to play Mayari #like it’s now been almost 4 years that I’ve been the forever DM of my in person table #4 years of running my homebrew campaign in my homebrew world every week and I LOVE IT but #that means Mayari has been sitting on the sidelines for all this time and so of course l have one BILLION thoughts about her and #endless headcanons and #when the DM of the game I’m playing her in said #‘hey guys just a heads up there will be a formal event coming up so start thinking about what you’d like your characters to wear’#I had SO MANY THOUGHTS and of course foremost of them was ‘I have to get Inge to draw this’#because inge #I swear to fucking god #not only is inge phenomenally skilled at art #and an incredibly thoughtful and detail oriented designer #Inge is also #a GEM #who takes all of my insane scatterbrained bullshit #and pulls it into something cohesive and gorgeous #I’m like ‘uhhh WOUND THEME? ummMmm can you HIDE WEAPONS IN IT??? uhhhhh here’s a colour scheme???? ummmm I like sparklyyyyyy????’#and Inge goes ‘yes perfect I can do that btw I went and used an umbrella to puzzle out the best place to #hide a sword without relying on the mainstay placements ie at the hips and back’#and now we have this cool thing where the hilt of mayas rapier is worked into the shoulder embellishment on her dress #and the sheath is hidden within the wound imagery and focus is pulled away from it by the downward flow of the ‘blood’ cloth #like #idk man I can’t even #just like. go commission inge #you won’t be disappointed #you will in fact be ecstatic

So, like, I feel the term 'himbo' gets thrown around a lot, but there's four criteria a male character really needs to meet to be a himbo:

Swole/total beefcake

Pretty and/or handsome

Dumb as a brick about intellectual matters

Heart of gold/emotionally mature and intelligent

Now, in FFXIV, I'd say most of the male characters, depending on individual preference and interpretation of the limited models available, check off one and two, but flip three and four: intelligent, but dumb as fucking hell about assorted emotional matters.

But you know the one man I can think of in game who, in fact, meets all four classic criteria and truly is a himbo?
