i'll elaborate more on this some other time but i've talked abt this irl enough that i need to get it out somewhere else:

the slenderman really is such an interesting horror creature and the mythos surrounding him very notably post-9/11 (despite the origins of the picture from outside the US) as well as smth that really could've only been made in the time that it was bc of you tried to make the slenderman today (a character with "no eyes, always watching") it would seem like a really on the nose metaphor for everyday surveillance and spying :P

old drafted post but i'm finally getting to this bc i think i talked abt this in tags but i gave transfem tim an actual name and basically i'm calling her sam now

her full name is going to be samantha marie wright (the middle name is for masky bc i think it'd be a little funny if she had a name but no one bothered to ask her) (also it allows the two of them to be called by name without outing themselves as plural)

she struggles to even acknowledge or accept the possibility of her transness but it's through her plurality that she's able to gradually come to terms with it and process a lot of repressed feelings from over the years

i think a lot got muddled with grief and paranoia so for her to get away and to live in a safer environment is probably scary but also gives her the chance to get to know herself and her headmate :]
