Hey guys!

So I may or may not be trying to rewrite all 3 high school musical movies (I'll be posting em on my A03, Citrine_Cutie, along with other hsm fanfic) and I need to know what changes y'all think I should make! The biggest ones that I can think I'll include is mostly shipping stuff (Chad x ryan, darbis x coach Bolton), and the readition of like 2 people's favorite hsm character.

I love the play I’m in because my character is male, but I’m a female playing him. So half the cast refers to me as a female, but the other half (including me) still refers to him as male. So I think I’ve accidentally become High School Musical’s first genderfluid character.

like, characters being somewhat ooc in fanworks is fine and all, but when a character's been flanderised to the point that they're barely recognisable, it's probably a sign that you should go back to canon for actual pointers on who this character is

On the topic of depicting the tmnt as non-white: if you make them dark skinned but grey, youre racist

Dark skintones are rich and colorful and saturates. Theres melanin and blood under the skin to give it color. If you draw the skin a lifeless grey, thats racist, youre being racist and you need to learn

Obviously this applies to all depictions of dark skinned characters but we having a tmnt conversation atm

Ngl the way I do it (I got this from an mlp humanizing video) is get a palate of a bunch of skin tones, turn on grayscale, and see what the skin matches up best with, plus a little teweaking if the color sucks (Lookin at you, mm Raph w your ashy ass.)

It's hot. Heatwaves in the UK are no joke, lemme tell you.

I know I haven't streamed for a while, and I'm afraid I won't be doing that again for a little while, either. This weekend I'm taking some kids on residential, which will include putting up their tents, cooking for them, and going to all their activities with them, and then I go straight back into the work week when I get back... (6am start on Monday yayyyyyy...) basically I don't have a day off for a couple weeks, which will probably take its toll on me and my ability to draw.

I will stream again! Just not for a little bit. I'll try to queue some art to post over the weekend so you get something to look at while I'm gone!

I just thought of something from the first season of tottmnt when they were fighting bishop

They all had the thought of “what would my brother do?”

Leo specially said “what would Donnie do?” And thought of reprogramming (which he didn’t because he ain’t techy)

Mikey said (?) “what would Leo do?” And said “apologize and kiss up to dad” (I think?)

Raph had the thought of “what would Mikey do?” And used joking as a stalling mechanism

Donnie had the thought of “what would raph do?” And used “beast mode” to fight back his mechazoid

Even though two were a joke, it still happened

I had that thought and thought it was cool enough to share hehe
