Hi, intro post here! I made this blog basically to find some community regarding alterhuman stuff (therianthropy, otherkin). I hope y'all do less pointless discourse than tiktok, because I'm not in the mood to be insulted by a 12 year old over nothing. So, my name is Mikah and my pronouns are they/he/xe or really anything but she/her, unless you're she/her-ing me like you would a drag queen or a boat. I'm fine with just they/them though. I'm a snow leopard therian, a therian of some sort of early hominid that I'm not quite sure on (my best guess is neanderthal), and an alien otherkin (of an Eridian from Project Hail Mary).

I am an adult, but the blog will be SFW. I don't have a DNI but I block freely. Please be nice to me, I'm very new to this whole alterhuman thing and I'm trying to figure things out. I don't really know all the terminology so I might get things wrong.

Definition: someone who identifies as or feels connected to eridians, the alien species from the book/movie Project Hail Mary.

Alterhuman terminology question: If I identify with/as a fictional species, is that therianthropy, fictionkin, or otherkin? Like not even from mythology or folklore, just like an alien species from a book.

For context this is me (just a rough approximation from a picrew, it's hard to gauge how I might have looked in that body since it uses echolocation instead of seeing)

Stupid human body can't even see behind itself. Stupid horse brain gets spooked wants to run around and neigh about it. Gotta be one of my more embarrassing shifts. Except maybe the time I got species dysphoria about the fact that I have a head (I'm an eridian (like from project hail mary) otherkin).
