Skyfall is one of my favorite Bond theme songs. It is better than Goldfinger, A View to A Kill, and Live and Let Die. Each of those songs bring 007 to life!

Merry Christmas! May this holiday season sparkle and shine. May all your wishes and dreams come true and may you feel this happiness all year round. 60 degrees and clear skies
It's not Christmas without Cheech & Chong!
Blood Sugar Sex Magik - My awesome wife surprised me with this album as a Christmas present. This has to be the Red Hot Chili Peppers best album. Their sound of rock/funk has added undertones of hip hop. I turn up my sub woofer to really appreciate the bass lines. Great alternative sounds of the early 1990s. I listened to this a lot my freshman year at Texas Tech.

The material in Hallowed Ground is more complex than the Violent Femmes debut album which contained the band's #1 hit Blister in the Sun. Some tracks like Country Death Song and Never Tell are challenging to listen to because of dark material. The album is not goth by any means and also contains some great gospel sound like Jesus Walking on the Water and It's Gonna Rain. The Violent Femmes deliver an interesting second album by combining gospel, folk, and punk!
Tomorrow is Record Store Day. Who’s picking up our limited edition release of ‘Ready Boy & Girls’?
I took a gamble and picked up this 10" Tears for Fears album. It contains 3 cover songs from Animal Collective, Hip Chip, and Arcade Fire. Defiantly not my favorite Alternative Rock bands, but Tears for Fears came through! I was not disappointed. Awesome use of synthesizers along with that great Tears for Fears sound!
Wow, talk about old school. Fred Neil's Everybody's Talkin.' Released 1966. Music experts classify Neil's music as a fusion of folk, rock, blues, gospel, pop, and country. Neil has a rich, deep, and smooth voice. Hearing his voice is like drinking dark roast extra smooth coffee.
Brain Salad Surgery by Emerson, Lake & Palmer, released in 1973. I picked this up because the cover by H.R. Giger caught my attention. This album is a mix of rock and classical sounds with heavy use of synthesizers. It is some best classic 70s progressive rock that I have heard!
Meltdown with the Ramones. This is a10 " Reissue of the original 1980 Four Track UK EP, at 45 RPM. The Ramones is one of the reasons why I like punk! It's on a really cool marblelized navy vinyl. Record Store Day 2014 exclusive!
The only Beatles compilation albums that you ever need: The Beatles 1962 - 1966 and The Beatles 1967 - 1970! These two albums are also known as the Red and Blue albums. Rock music at it's best!

Fleetwood Mac Tusk. Stevie Nicks in all her glory. Released in 1979.
AC DC NO BULL! This blu-ray contains the directors cut of their Madrid concert at the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas on 10 July 1996. The audio is in Dolby TrueHD 5.1 (96KHz/ 24-bit). It is great to listen to this after work!

Frankie Goes to Hollywood Two Tribes on 45. Now spinning this in honor of Kevin Bacon explanation of the '80s to Millennials. The 45 has some great pictures on the record label.
