Different Musicians Interpretations of Turquoise -
Robert Cheeseman - i'd say F key, loadsa compression and some tape effect
Brynley Starkings - Surfer sound, maybe in the key of G major. bit of chorus, tiny bit of delay and some reverb. the tone of guitar should be basey on the top strings but chimey. perhaps played on a telecaster. its important the snare of the kit is tight. also the harmonies of the vocals would be wide. some high harmonies in there. couple of sweeteners and away ya go
Jake Stewart - natural like 80s/70s so less electronic, some guiter bass keys n drumzzzz
Harry Zwaig - it's kinda got a chilled, surfer, melancholic feel to me. so i reckon reverb, touch of chorus, twangy guitars, maybe some brass and tremolo
Charlie Glover - It would be a Dmajor if it was a key. It would be a Dmaj7 if it was a chord, played on the third highest octave on a piano.
The idea of music appears everywhere in Kandinsky's paintings. He believed shades resonated with each other to produce visual 'chords' and had an influence on the soul. Composer Gerard McBurney on the Russian artist's concertos on canvas.
David Bowie - Life On Mars
Synaesthesia Painting - Melissa McCracken
