she's a big sister, she's an auntie, she's whoever you want her to be, although she loves playing mom the most. even if her little one doesn't use any special terms for her, she'll use them on herself, like do you want to come and cuddle with mama? c'mere, baby

claire also looooooves a good pet name. honey, puppy, darlin', she has a long list that she picks and chooses from, and she always seems to know exactly which one someone likes the most.

often takes inspiration from her own childhood for things to do, like taking sherry on camping trips, or going to the arcade with moira. she has a lot of very fond memories of spending time with her brother growing up, and she tries her very best to follow in his footsteps with her own little ones.

very competitive when it comes to video games. she has a bad habit of forgetting she's not playing with her brother, so she'll take it way too seriously and then get way too excited that she's won. she'll always apologize… eventually.

loves taking her kiddos out on her bike, even if it's just for a short trip to the mall and back. she'll always make sure to clip their helmets on for them and lend them one of her jackets to wear, which all smell like a comfortable mix of her vanilla perfume and a hint of gunpowder.

always tries and keep her little ones involved with whatever she's doing, even when it comes to her adult responsibilities. making herself a cup of coffee, and a sippy cup with milk for her baby, or a piece of paper for them to scribble on while she works through her paperwork.

she can be a little awkward about recieving physical affection sometimes, but she loves smooching her babies on the cheek with an over-exaggerated mwah! sherry will always squirm away and whine about it being embarrassing, and then give claire puppy-dog eyes until she gets another.

claire will never let her babies think she doesn't enjoy looking after them, even when they're feeling sad or just want to sleep all day. she's so earnest and open with her affection that it's impossible for them to forget, and she makes sure of it.

little sherry birkin headcanons

sher is pretty ambiguously aged when she’s regressed she likes to color and carries around a comfort blanket but also refuses to go without her morning coffee and doesn’t care for a lot of media geared towards kids. that said she’s easily frightened or upset when she’s little so claire and leon put on a lot of documentaries and learning based shows.

she likes regressing the most with leon or claire. she will regress alone but always prefers for one of her parents to be there.

when she’s small with either of her parents she’s prone to stealing their clothes. she takes a t-shirt from leon that’s way too big on her and pajama pants from claire that she has to tie tightly to make them stay up.

she’s curious by nature and spends a lot of her time just asking questions. she’ll sit on the corner of claire’s desk and ask what she working and then a billion follow up questions. she does this with leon too but when leon is working from home it usually involves a pretty gruesome case file so instead of telling her he opts to change the subject or he’ll turn the questions around on her and ask what she’s been reading lately or if she’s spoken to any of the other girls like moira or grace.

little ! sherry latched onto grace a lot after requiem , she views her as a little sister when she’s big but when she’s regressed she’s a lot more like a younger sibling. she constantly wants to call grace and see what she’s up to, ask if she wants to come over, ask if emily want to come over. she asks grace about her job and her hobbies and everything in between. leon sometimes has to step in because grace can get a little flustered.

claire is the best at knowing when sherry needs to be small. she’ll gentle her into it, make her a hot glass of something, usher her off to get changed into something cozy, and use all her little pet names. usually when sherry is small claire calls her ‘bug’ or ‘pip’ , pip is short for pipsqueak which is what chris always calls her.

despite having multiple people she considers like little sisters, she’s an only child at heart. she can get a little possessive of leon and claire and has a ‘well i found them first’ mentality at times. it’s not a consistent problem and it usually just means she wants to be held and rocked for a while and maybe have a mom and dad and sherry day before going back to sharing again.

little ashley and caregiver leon ꒰ 🍓 hcs below . .

their relationship exists largely between text messages given their circumstances but on the rare occasion ashley can spend the night over at leons he’s got a stash of things for her in his spare room which has basically become ‘the girls room’ , it’s got little bits for ada, helena, ashley, and grace.

ashley has the most toys, all of the other girls are mostly readers or playing video games when they’re small but ashley loves playing with toys. she’s got a whole bin for her doll and such and a dedicated, organized drawer with her smaller toys like lps && calicos.

ashley enjoys nice smells and soft things so leon has her preferred lotions and perfumes in the cabinet under the sink. she’s also got one of those hooded towels that has cat ears.

ashley is definitely the most ‘kidish’ when she’s small, some of the other girls you might not even notice they’re little unless they tell you but grace and ashley are always pretty noticeably tiny.

leon has to give her screen time limits because she’ll play her games late into the night and gets very cranky when tired. it’s also really common that she’ll want to call one of the other girls to ‘play’ with her which really just means she’ll prop the phone up in her dollhouse and expects to be watched cooed at every once in awhile.

(cg/s) aeon + (little) grace ashcroft headcanons anon don't worry.... i will literally find any excuse to talk about them. they're everythinggggg to me. i <3 found family. etc. a lot of these refer back to my prexisting headcanons for them too. read below the cut!!

(1) leon + ada + grace

grace was a bit of a latchkey kid growing up, so she usually fine with regressing alone, unless it's triggered by her nightmares. leon initially finds out about her regression after a severe panic attack, and soon after, ada starts coming along to help take care of her too.

over time, after lots and lots of reassurance and encouragement, grace starts regressing around them voluntarily. sometimes just being around them makes her slip, because she trusts them so so so much, and they're that much of a comfort to her.

sometimes neither of them will be available when she's small, so one of their first gifts for her were two build a bear teddies, with pre-recorded messages for her to listen to when she's upset. they have matching outfits, made out of fabrics that wouldn't upset grace's sensory issues, courtesy of ada's fine eye for BAB clothing.

(2) ada + grace

grace is such a mama's girl, and ada loves nothing more than spoiling her with as many gifts as she can. teddy bears, comfy blankets, new video games, anything grace could ever need or want.

ada's more likely than leon to try and enforce any rules, but she's very lenient about how they're followed. grace needs to be tucked into bed at a normal time, yes, but she can watch a movie or read a book if she can't sleep.

ada loves giving grace little makeovers… styling her hair, painting her nails all different colors, doing those silly animal themed sheet masks together, all of it. sometimes they even rope leon into it, and he'll end up with glittery pink nails and a cinnamoroll face mask on.

on grace's bad nights, ada usually reads to her; typically non-fiction books, or something that alyssa would read to her as a child. she doesn't always want to be held when she's upset, but ada always makes sure to sit close by, as an unspoken reassurance that she isn't alone.

her favorite nicknames for grace are darling and sweetheart, and if she's feeling teeny-tiny, kitty cat. grace usually calls her mama, much to her own embarrassment early on.

(3) leon + grace

while ada is better at recognizing grace's emotions, leon is better equipped at handling them. he's a very straightforward person, which grace appreciates, because it makes it easier for her to understand just how he feels about something. if she's ever embarrassed about being small, he's always quick to tell her that there's nothing to be ashamed of.

leon runs as hot as a furnace, while grace runs perpetually cold, so she loves taking naps with him. ada regularly comes home to find both of them on the couch, snoring away in the warmth of the afternoon sun.

on the rare occasion that grace leaves the house while small, she always hides herself behind leon, using him as a human shield from the rest of the world. if she's really anxious, he'll give her his jacket to wear. it's warm, smells like him, and massively oversized on her, so she can basically hide underneath it.

grace is trying her very hardest to get him into playing video games, sometimes just handing him her nintendo switch with zero context. he's pretty good at puzzle games, like poyo poyo tetris and katamari, but he's utterly hopeless at mario kart. grace's favorite games are pokémon and pikmin.

his favorite nicknames for grace are gracie, kid and kiddo. grace initially only calls him leon, but over time she starts calling him dad as well, especially when she's upset.
