this fic was mainly inspired by @/softpawpup's most recent post, its literally 9pm and i have to wake up tomorrow at like 4am for an early morning shift but ik if i didn't write it now, i never would so,,hope u enjoy!
Izuku loves Sunday nights. Because Sunday nights are when his and Tenya's schedules are clear, and they can both take care of Katsuki together.
Tenya was in the kitchen downstairs, wiping down the countertops with a damp cloth with one hand and holding Katsuki on his hip with the other.
Katsuki's 8:00 pm bedtime was soon to be arriving, and he was just about ready to be put down. Tenya had just given him his bottle and burped him not too long ago. In fact, his burping cloth was still hanging over his shoulder just underneath the little one's chin.
When Tenya hears footsteps nearby, he turns and smiles cheerfully when he sees Izuku coming near.
Izuku dusts off his hands. "That should be all of them! Now all of his toys are in his toy chest upstairs." And he beams when he sees how cozy his boyfriend looks in Tenya's arms.
He coos, reaching out and tickling Katsuki's side. "You look so sleepy, Kacchan…! Are you ready to go to bed?"
The little one jostles only slightly when he's tickled, wrapping his arms around Tenya's neck to snuggle into them a little more. The burping towel falls off his shoulders, but Izuku is quick to catch it.
Izuku giggles before he really pays attention to the fact that Tenya was cleaning up the kitchen.
"Wh—you cleaned the kitchen?"
"Mhm." Tenya nods, still smiling.
"You didn't need to do that, Tenya!" He puts his hands on his hips, upset that he left all this work for his friend. "I was gonna do it when I was finished cleaning. I know you like holding Kacchan after he's done feeding."
That is true; he does like to do that, but—"On the contrary! I cleaned up so that our tasks today would be evenly split, as I noticed you were taking more work on than I. Besides, I don't mind multitasking."
Izuku hums, "If you're sure…"
"In fact," Tenya starts adjusting his hold on Katsuki and gets closer to Izuku to lend him over. "He was looking for you after you left. I think he'd like for you to hold him now."
Izuku almost protests, but when he sees the way Katsuki focuses on him and the tiny smile that spreads from ear to ear—how can he refuse?
With the kitchen cleaned and their little one fed for the night, they both make their way up to Katsuki's bedroom and get him ready for bed. Katsuki was the only one out of the three of them who wasn't wearing pajamas yet, so he changed into some plaid sweatpants and a skull tee to get himself comfortable.
Because Tenya was permitted (by a mentally older Katsuki), he got under the covers on Katsuki's left, and Izuku got comfortable on his right side, bringing him close to his chest and lying the little one's head in the nook of his neck.
Katsuki was so giddy for someone who was so sleepy a minute ago. He kicked his feet out happily, clenching and unclenching Izuku's shirt as he giggled and babbled about how he was gonna stay awake this time, for sure!
But the minute Tenya whips out Katsuki's favorite bedtime story, "The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight" by R.L. Stine, he's out before they can even finish the chapter. As they find a pacifier for Katsuki to suck on for the night, Izuku is already planning out what they're going to do next Sunday when their schedules are free.
i always hate to complain abt agere fic because there's so little of it but ohhhh my goodness whenever i see baby talk in an actual fic i nope out soooo quickly please thats not... how ppl talk... please have mercy please dont make your regressor say "sowwy i's littol" unless they're like. texting someone. and even then its preferred if you dont do that for readability. i've been reading/writing agere fic since 2017 and this has only gotten worse in recent years wahhh

🍓 〡 an absolute FIEND for strawberry–themed anything, it's pretty ridiculous. he goes especially crazy for strawberry pocky, strawberry milk, & regular strawberries. also has a strawberry kitty plush that doubles as thermal aid for his chronic pain (bcz we all agree that he wasn't left unscathed from that volcano / robot suit combo ( ˘ ³˘)♥︎)
🍓 〡 ladybugs are the only bugs he likes / isn't downright terrified of. yes he has the ladybug pillow pet
🍓 〡 due to constantly being shoved in the spotlight (& then outshined by jose, if applicable . . . so most of the time), he kind of hates being perceived if it's not on his own terms. if he catches his cg watching him do anything he will immediately protest & try to hide, but in exactly ten minutes they'll have a baby climbing into their lap with no prompting bcz now he wants attention
🍓 〡 primary(?) cg is noah. while he can be a little stiff with comforting words & initiating snuggles, his nonchalance actually works really well with alejandro's “dramatics” ; staying calm & attentive gives alejandro space to safely lash out in a way that doesn't feel judgemental + his indifferent demeanor triggers his weird thing about being perceived a lot less than normal. other cgs can include heather, tyler, maybe duncan and mayyyybe owen, but solely bcz he's the most little-compatible out of all of noah's friends
🍓 〡 his heart is 1000% on his sleeve. this is good bcz nobody has to guess what he's feeling or what he wants, but also bad bcz he's sensitive & one tonal change could seriously send him spiralling ｡°(°¯᷄◠¯᷅°)°｡
🍓 〡 huge fan of lions & cats by extension. he has a lion rattle that he absolutely adores & he would shake it nonstop if not for noah urging him to give it a rest sometimes

🏈 When Derek regresses, he usually drops to ages 6-7 or, if its a triggered regresion, to ages 13-15. He already had a caregiver before joining the BAU, javing met Jesse when working in the obsessional crimes unit. For field work, littles are required to have a proxy caregiver incase of sudden drops. Derek had originally asked Aaron to be his proxy, which is when he confessed he was a little, but asked if Derek could keep it under wraps. He then, under Aaron's advice, asked Jason.
🏈 Derek finds it hard to regress, so, Jesse takes him to littles sport clubs; The high energy environment plus being surrounded by other littles get him to regress every time without fail. It also had the added benefit of Derek gaining plenty of littles friends. Derek invited Aaron to all his games, hoping it would incourage him to drop. When he inevitably dropped, Jesse took him home, letting the two boys play.
🏈 Derek has a large collection of hotwheels (a long standing collection from when he was a child). His mama will send him a new hotwheels (or occasionally matchbox cars) after a tough case. He lines them up all the way around the house, except for the stairs because his daddy will not let him play on the stairs EVEN if it's just to line up the cars.
🏈 After joining the bau, the only other openly little agents were elle and JJ, so the three of them would have playdates in the hotel rooms the travelled between during cases. They would mostly play a mushed up version of house, with dolls for JJ, dinosaurs for Derek and wolves for Elle. Jason would watch over them, occasionally playing with them, claming 'frequently changing my perspective in the world will make me a better profiler'.
🏈Penelope steps in as occasional caregiver/babysitter, spoiling the boy with hand painted highly detailed cars, and the odd manicured dinosaur. She desperately wanted a little of her own, so, Derek facilitated an 'accidental' meet between Penny and Aaron. After seeing the little-ish posture if Aaron, he told penny to go check up on him before leaving for home. Ever since then, Aaron has been much more openly little, the two boys running around and jabbering on about their shared love for cars.
