So a friend recently convinced me to play DRAMAticle Murder! It was fun! I love Virtual Novels, but I dont play them often. It was nice to sit down with one of the titans. If you too like 2010s Boys Love then you have probably already played this game. If you haven't I recomend fixing that at your earliest convenience.
DISCLAIMER! I've only played the base game good endings so far, my opinions are subject to change as I get more information! I wanted to write down my thoughts so far is all. Detailed thoughts on the love interests (and spoilers) under the cut:
Going in the order I played them- first is Noiz!
I hate him.
Spesifically, he is the exact type of infuriating that makes me want to shove him into a locker. At first I was unsure about him, but finding out he's 19 made a lot of things make sense. He grew on me like a fungus. My friend has accused me of treating him like a tsundere- WHICH IS A LIE!

WHO DOSE HE THINK HE IS WORRYING AOBA AND ME FOR THREE MONTHS HUH?

Next is Mink!
He's... fine? Im completely apathetic towards him tbh. It was fun watching Aoba Whump The Route, but between the Racism and how much Mink resists being understood as a character beyond being an antagonist until the very very end... I just didn't find him very compelling.
Final score: Dont let your bird smoke??? I don't care that it's an allmate, smoke is bad for birds.
I was playing these routes in mostly recomended order, but I knew Mink was going to be rough, so I saved the one I was looking forward to the most for after him. Koujaku time!

Idk if it's because of the contrast with Mink, but the way he genuinly genuinly cares about Aoba as a person? It was so refreshing. I really like them and Koujaku feels like the most believable romance With Aoba to me. They seem like they would have the most stable staying power as a couple which is cute. Only casualty is Aoba's hair (sad)

He's such a silly rabbit~ I like that I predicted he was gonna be an allmate/robot the moment he got introduced. That said these boys were going to give me a heart attack when they kept takeing off Clear's mask. We didnt know what it was protecting him from!!! What if he got hypnotized or worse!!!!
I really liked the timer at the end of his route, and how you had to let it run out. That was really fun and reinforced the themes of agency and autonomy.

Brother (nonbinary), there is no cishet neurotypical explanation for that. This game is deeply queer. This game is deeply neurodivergent. This game's devs have spent the last five years leaning into that. They hired a fan-artist that made porn of the game's characters (mostly M/M) to design deluxe skins.
There is absolutely something up with Warframe and being trans it is absolutely a thing.
