With enough excitement to last her years, Hibiki jumped out of her seat. “Yay! You won’t regret it, I’ll make sure!” Even if she did have a gut feeling that Chris wanted to come, it didn’t mean she would act on it. Just the simple mumbled confirmation of her invitation was enough to make her day better.
Her fingers brushed against the arm of the chair to prevent herself from falling, which caused Miku to giggle in the distance. But a place to meet up? That’s a good question. Hibiki felt too excited and worried if Chris would come along to even think of a good meeting place.
"Hehe, I shall not be late!" As long as she didn’t get lost on the way…and she wouldn’t dare tell that to Chris. That means she had to make sure she was on time. Time on her watch stated it to be 12:12pm, and with enough time, maybe they could meet up by 12:25 or 12:30pm. She wanted this day to begin to the earlier, the better!
"How about we meet up at the record store? And we can be there around 12:25 or 12:30! Sound like a plan?"
It was 12:12pm now...so she wanted to meet up in 13 minutes? How close was this girl to the record store?! ...and what if she got lost? Chris could only sigh, but at least it was all in good measure. In the end, she had Hibiki to thank for a number of things...so she couldn't be as harsh as she might have normally chose to be. in fact, a grin began to form on her face as well...but she was damn lucky that girl wasn't around to see her do it. Knowing her, she'd bubble over in happiness, and then they'd never get anything done!
"Alright alright... we'll meet at the record store. AND make it 12:30. That way you have more than enough time to get there. Sound Fair~?"
As she spoke, she did her best to retain her own delighted outlook, already slipping into her outdoor shoes not even waiting for her friend's reply. All the packing had even been done as Hibiki was picking the time. If you saw her now, it was undeniable she was beyond excited, her hand was even gripping the door in anticipation~!
