Scott walked along the many aisles of the Beacon Hills High School Library, before he finally arrived at the one he needed. Noticing that there weren’t many students around reassured Scott that he could leisurely search for the book he would need, only to find a stranger involved with that particular novel herself. Scott blinked, thinking what he should do when she spoke. “Oh, uh…” He began. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be a creeper, I just had been looking for that, actually, but if you need it, that’s totally fine.” He nodded toward the book. Scott cleared his throat before starting to speak again. “If you don’t mind me asking, have I seen you around here before?”
Emilia’s eyebrows pulled together as he spoke and she laughed softly. “No, it’s okay you’re not being a creeper.” She offered him a gentle smile and let her eyes gazed over the novel again. “I don’t need it.” She admitted before shrugging. She’d thought it looked interesting but if the guy needed it for whatever reason she wouldn’t take it. Her lips parted at the second questions and she laughed softly. “We both have English and Coach’s class together.” Emilia knew who he was, Scott McCall, star of the lacrosse team. It wasn’t hard not to know who he was. “Here.” She handed the book over to him. “I’m Emilia.”
