has anybody else suddenly felt like your therapist secretly hates you for no reason? Like, theyāre completely normal, havenāt done anything to suggest it, but your brain just goes, āTheyāre sick of me and regret taking me on as a clientā? Because SAME.
i even ignored her message to book a session for a bit, and when I finally went, she asked if she should hold my hand while I was sharing something difficult. She was so kind that I was like, āWtf is my brain even on about?ā How do you deal with this?? Is this normal??.
every tumblr user i've met irl
can somebody who has read this let me know if this book is good BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE I HAVE TO READ THIS NOW JRHCK
some girl in my dorm snuck this lil kitty family into our common room and the girls on our floor come out to check on them every five mins ITS ADORABLE
i'm sorry my pain is causing you so much misery. the pain that you caused btw
I invited my shadow self over for a cup of coffee.
āYou know what you need to do.ā Her voice was quiet, almost kind. āJust tear that page out of your journal, and Iāll go. Iāll vanish, and youāll never have to look at me again."
I glanced at her, the tilt of her head, the almost-smile that made her feel human. Real.
I wrote her into existence. But I held onto her like she's some anchor.Every word, every line on that page shaped herāthe slump of her shoulders, the tremor in her fingers when she reached for the coffee mug. But I held onto her like she was some kind of anchor, tethering me to a storm I didnāt know how to leave.
I could tear that page up and scatter it, but she'd still be here. Just lighter, quieter.
āIf I wanted to get rid of you, I would have,ā I said finally. āBut..ā My breath caught, a pause longer than Iād planned. āIām terrified of being alone again. And youāre not the worst company Iāve had.ā
I have my machine learning final tomorrow and I'm officially losing it šš
