analog journal kind of day. the nice thing about journaling by hand is being able to stop mid-sentence and doodle random things or take note of the things surrounding me and jot them down in some margin or marked-off spot at the bottom of the page.

today’s soundtrack was death cab for cutie’s album plans, which i haven’t actually listened to in years. it was nice reminiscing on all the memories i’ve associated with this album, lyrics that stuck with me sounding like i was hearing them for the first time. it was such a cathartic way to end my work week and ease into the weekend.

anywho, off to an evening of knitting and netflix~

14 days of lockdown 2.0 🔒 day 1

I have completely fallen off track with my own 100 days of productivity challenge (no suprises there, lol) so I decided that, since today marks day 1 of South Africa’s extended lockdown, I’ll just use this as an interim challenge instead. I know 2.0 doesn’t make sense, so lemme explain: our initial lockdown was scheduled from 27 March until 16 April, which means that today would have meant freedom for us. however, our president has in the meanwhile extended the lockdown by a further 2 weeks. hence, lockdown 2.0 😂 anyway, if you look closely at the notes on my screen you’ll see that whoever compiled the questions for our criminal law tutorial definitely had a Harry Potter marathon 😂

WEEK 2 - SATURDAY

I'm so bad at keeping up with this challenge. But yeah, apparently the quarantine was getting so boring that I decided to make that dalgona coffee everyone was raving about. I don't even drink coffee.

(But it was really delicious, 10/10 would do it again.)
