As much as love baking and making drinks at home as a home cafe (especially during these times...) I totally ♥️ going to new cafes and discovering nice sweet treats and cakes. I went to a new cafe in Düsseldorf last week and it was sooo good! And a nice break from the usual routine and usual study photos. 😉

It's been such a long time since I last posted....! I've been so busy recently that I haven't really had a chance to take such good notes, but I'm still learning German and will be taking intensive lessons until the end of the month :) after that I will take italki classes and pronunciation lessons. Took a break with a vegan coffee and chocolate protein shake and chocolate cookie. ,🍪🍪🍪🍫

I was doing quite well this week until the deadline. I think I’ve just been going at full speed all week and sleeping not very well but I’m hoping I don’t give up. That’s what scares me - falling off the pedestal or going days without doing anything at all.

It's so bright into the evening nowadays. I find myself feeling like I have to study longer, even though I wake up at 5:30am and start studying straight away. Time to redo my schedule a bit so I don't feel so stretched!

I started to use Anki and I'm not sure how I feel about it so far... I'm going to give it a go for a month and see if it helps with my vocab! It's really interesting to go back through my vocab and see what I've already learned and to see what words I've struggled with the most! With coffee and cookies of course 😉😉🍪☕

It would be amazing if you’d share some of your resources. I just started using Babble and I found a few you tube channels that help. I’m looking for other resources and advice. I really want to immerse my self in this language.

Hellotalk  Busuu Duolingo (only the stories though, for me personally the normal levelling didn’t help too much!)  Leo - a very accurate and useful German dictionary

Websites: https://www.dw.com/ Also the official Goethe Institut website as they have exam materials so you can check your progress. I would recommend finding Netflix shows in the German language you like too and to read blogs which personally interest you too, to keep it fun. :) For example, if I want a vegan recipe, I find a German youtube vegan recipe channel like  Francisca Alexandra. I've passed my B1 German exam! 😊♥️ Today I start B2 and I'm so motivated to pass soon with coffee and vegan matcha cookies!
