I'm only on City of Ashes, but I cannot stand Maryse. I sincerely hope she improves over the next 4 books because normally I'm almost always on team Lightwood!

Maybe reading TID and TLH first made me have super high standards for the Lightwoods...

Have finished the first book of Mortal Instruments for the first time. After reading TID and TLH I'd just like to know wtf happened because the writing is so much better than TLH and the story is more interesting. Most of the characters annoy me but Magnus continues to be a favourite.
