How do you feel about fanart of the Cloudscratcher characters dressed as characters from web series? 'cause, with the news of a long running web series coming to a end in December, fans of that series that are also fans of your comic might wanna draw fanart combining the two as a tribute for the web series.

I am always supportive of any fan art people wanna make. I guess unless it's, like, using my characters as a mouthpiece for someone's politics or something like that. Respectful fanart is always A-Okay with me.

Even NSFW, as long as I don't see it lol

What were your thoughts on Cut Cafe's video on Cloudscratcher from last year?

I couldn'tve been happier, or more thrilled. It was a wonderful surprise, and at the risk of sounding corny, discovering that video and seeing it for the first time is a moment I genuinely treasure.

I wanted to get the physical copy of Volume 1 of Cloudscracter for my niece's birthday but, when I went to the store, it was out of stock.

Do you know if/when that store is going to restock the comic?

It might be awhile, sadly. Small publisher struggles. Though you could always request it to Vivid, and ask anyone else interested to do the same, to help make it a higher priority for another print run. In the meantime, we still have digital copies for sale.

How would you feel about fans shipping Sogaat and Sally-Jean due to both the newest comic page and how they had a solo adventure in the Avian ruins?

Just so you know, I don't ship them but I'm not opposed to them becoming a canon couple either. It's more of a "They're cute together regardless of relationship status." type of feeling I have for them.

Fans are free to ship whoever they like!

What do you think about the

Kittycorn drama if you don't know who that is they are a creator of another webcomic similar to cloud scratcher by that it has its own website and such and takes place in pink evil hospital

I'm not privy to the drama of other Webcomics. Unless it's crazy enough to get YouTube documentaries or something like that.

Felix said that Sogaat was part of his life ever since he was a baby. (Don't remember the exact words used)

Does that mean Felix sees Sogaat as a "uncle" figure in his life or a second father figure if the worst case scenario happens to his dad?

The crew overall has a deliberate family dynamic. Sogaat would fall under either the kindly uncle, or the family's local priest they're close to.

I was reading cloudscratcher all over again and I noticed that it's reaching 500 pages are you gonna do anything to celebrate that milestone just curious?

lol probably not. I just kinda focus on telling the story and getting to the next chapter and all that.

Hey, apologies if this post is too "dramaey" but any clue what the beef from thewebcomicsreview's about?

I’ve seen them in the past throwing around accusations of white nationalism and crap towards you, but a lot of it seems hard to track down as it appears most of the drama and crap happened on twitter. (Which is, to put it bluntly, “hard to access thanks to Elon Musk,” and I don’t want to make an account as I don’t want to join twitter at this rate.)

I originally dismissed most of the accusations thrown from TWCR. I thought they seemed baseless, they were the only one who seemed to talk about it, and the CutCafe video on Cloudscratcher gave me the impression that the comic was largely anti-facist? (With the bad guys being an empire of basically “Snake Supremacists,” who personally seem to resemble Nazi Germany. Like, that detail made me question the accusations seeing as the comic’s content seemed critical of those types.)

However, now (looking back over their account/posts relating to Cloudscratcher) I’m unsure, but it’s hard to fact check the screenshot tweets and shit, or to view the context around them because again, “Twitter’s way more inaccessible thanks to the Muskrat” and I don’t really want to go to that hell-hole of a website as opposed to bluesky.

Mostly what I’m trying to say is I want to get your side of the story here? The things that raised red flags to me was a screenshoted, questionable retweet, and some debates around the UniteTheRight rally, but I cannot see the context beyond it because again “twitter’s largely inaccessible without an account and I do not want an account,” and I don’t see any screenshots/recites beyond 2017 or something? Idk I just hate fact-checking these callout posts man.

I do not know who that is but they sure sound schizophrenic to me. If they're looking to have their politics reaffirmed in some way through Cloudscratcher they're barking up the wrong tree. I'm in the same boat as Tolkien when it comes to allegory.
