Everyone (rightfully) talks about how in Good Omens season 1, when Aziraphale and Crowley swap bodies to avoid being executed they portray each other as their best version and it shows that even if the vision they have of each other is slightly incorrect they only see the best in the person they love. But it always baffles me that no one ever mentions these scenes "ancestor":

Jesus sees Judas as a charismatic angelic superstar

Judas sees Jesus as just some guy (just the same as anyone I know), because it's so lonely for Jesus at the top of the metaphorical divine mountain and he doesn't want to die :((((

Only to add something to this

Jesus thinks that Judas was right, that Judas was right from the beginning. And he thinks that Judas is happy or smug about it; he thinks that Judas is not only alive, but actually happy with his suffering.

And I'll say it.

He probably thinks that Judas was actually the only one following God's words, because (from his perspective) Judas didn't hesitate in the betrayal.

Ayyyy so. I HAVE talked about this before but I’ve never made it its own post. In the recorded 2012 version of the arena tour, when Jesus hugs Judas in The Arrest, Judas just sort of stands there while Jesus clings to him and doesn’t really reciprocate physically apart from when they’re both struggling against being pulled away from each other. In the 2013 second tour, of which there are pictures as seen above right, clearly a change has been made in that Judas now puts his arms around Jesus during the hug. They just don’t wanna be torn apart D: Not a huge thing but you know. When it’s your otp it’s a pretty big thing. Carry on.
