Testing TipperZ Games App

Exciting Times we have put the TipperZ games app live on iOS and Android devices.

But shush we are keeping quiet for the moment, the reason we have put the app live even though it’s not finish is because we are cleaning up all the bugs which end users are pointing out to us.

Yes we have do this several times before we put it live, but there is nothing like a fresh perspective to progress the game to the next level of playability. The other reason we are live but under the radar is because we want the search algorithm to recognize the word TipperZ. This may not seem important but the search in the iTunes and Google Play Stores are really slow to verify the new names in there store and hence you will lose a lot of valuable downloads if people can’t find it the first time they look for it.  

The main update which is not currently within either app is the store which keeps the records for the players and if they would like to purchase add ons or new levels they can.

When the update is approved by Apple it will be all guns blazing on the promotion side of things so I’m sure you will see the Game TipperZ on various platforms around the web.

We’d love to have seen something cool like this when we were at school!

Kids at St Kieran’s National School in Offaly were treated to an amazing virtual reality experience when they were given the opportunity to walk in the world they created.

Designed by MissionV, a virtual reality platform for teaching and training, students in 11 schools across the country get to check out new realities using a simulator that’s access controlled by their teacher.

According to Technology.ie, who shared this video, normally the students simply use the keyboard and mouse to explore the new worlds, but as a treat MissionV founder James Corbett brought in something very special: the Oculus Rift VR headset.

To add to their experience, the students in the national school learned scripting and 3D modelling and recreated historic Irish site, Clonmacnoise. Have a look at the fun they had.
