watching thunderbolts is certainly an experience becays why did i sob my eyes out for 2 and a half hours straight?

bob reynolds ate bugs as a kid. this is just canon to me. he also collected them in jars, put them in his room, and had names for every one.

bob loves nicknames. yelena calls him “bobert,” ava “bug” (after his long time fascination with insects big or small), and Bucky, with eyes full of affection, ruffles his hair and calls him “kid.”

still, his favorite nicknames are the ones that come from john. when the other man kisses his head, he whispers “sweetheart” into his hair. when they’re laying together in bed, bob’s head nestled into his chest, a soft, affectionate “baby” is spoken into the dark. and yet, his favorite is still “Bobby,” because it’s a reminder that the man he loves has changed him for the better, turning what used to be an insult into a simple declaration of love.
