Cuz I still got more ideas in this noggin of mine.
Also got something for the folks who like to see Sun in dresses, suits and both. Which includes myself. LET THE SUN SIMPS EAT!!!
I genuine couldn't go without making a part 2 to this. I had NOT expected the amount of support I would get on the first one and I from the bottom of my heart cannot thank you all enough for the nice comments and reblogs. Like, seriously, 1K LIKES?!
I think expanding on Sun's fire magic with my own ideas has been the most fun I've had in a while.
I HOPE TO GOD they do something with his fire magic IT WOULD BE SO AWESOME. But, hey, even if it never comes to be and we are stuck with fireballs, it can still live in imagination. And maybe even in fanart if people decide to use or even add onto these ideas further 👀 wink wink nudge nudge
A quick thanks to @xnackery027 for making something click in my brain in regards to my glass idea.
As usual these lovely characters are from Ghost in the Machine and belong to @venomous-qwille !! A good majority of the art is theirs as well, but theres also art by @just-a-drawing-bean , @derpyolives , @cookiiemancer , and @sealemoons Please check them all out 😋
Goofy bonus, but the Sanii half without graphs as a gif ^^
Soooooooooo how do you feel about people on TikTok saying Rosie is playing the victim card?
Oh buddy don’t get me started.
Oh buddy don’t get me started. (/ref)
In all seriousness though, I just ignore the posts when I see em XP I think that they’re wrong, Rosie lashing out at Sun’s been a LONG time coming and I’ve been saying this since February, but can’t do much if people disagree. (Though I’ve actually had someone complain to ME cause I was siding with her LOL)
Rosie laid out her reasons for being pissed pretty clearly imo, some people have been misrepresenting her issue as “being surprised Sun rejected her” (which would’ve been wrong of her, had that been her argument) despite the fact she explicitly says she didn’t mind that; her issue was the fact he allowed Moon to lock her in a storage room for 2 months, isolated her from everyone, and then no one checked up on her or helped her reintegrate after she was freed. She was manipulated and threatened into compliance by Andrew, and no one in the cast took that into consideration when deciding her punishment. To me it didn’t read as if she was annoyed that Sun wasn’t her friend anymore, it reads as her being annoyed he ignored her in general, ESPECIALLY after allowing her to be punished so harshly. (More harshly than villains who’ve done worse!)
But alas! It is what it is. People have different interpretations of the show — some more flawed than others — so I just click “Not Interested” and move on.
Just imagine me doing this if you say this directly to me tho /silly
Also, people have been weird about Rosie since she debuted. There’s a small vocal portion of the fandom that hates her regardless of what she does for pretty much just existing. I have a few characters I dislike that people love too — it is what it is,,, >_>
I WOULD LIKE TO LET THE INTERNET KNOW THAT THESE EXIST, ARE TASTY AND ARE THE CAUSE OF ME ACCIDENTALLY SLEEPING IN FOR A FEW HOURS TODAY BECAUSE I HAD SLEEPY TIME CHOCOLATES TOO LATE AT NIGHT LAST NIGHT, oops
Firstly, I'm conflicted. I don't see any of the two being in the wrong, not by a long shot. Sun, isn't in control of his brother and sibling in law's behavior. Everybody knows Moon and Monty do what they want, basically and Sun, while he did got angry at them once or twice, his words will never really stop them both from doing what they do. As far as i see it, Sun isn't obligated to do anything. He isn't the one who threatened Rosie, he simply distanced himself from her because she's the one qho betrayed them, whether she meant it or not. It's the same as back when Cosmos was in early days. Sun didn't create as great of a bond with him as he did once worked with Eclipse and became a threat whether directly or indirectly.
Other than Sun, i do feel bad for Rosie for how she was treated. Sure the family been through stuff but treating her specifially this way isn't.. Ethical and quite odd seeing how they handled other ppl like Cosmos and NovaFrost. Yet again, the ones that actually threatened them are all mostly dead so like... But it doesn't change the fact they never gave her a chance to change. I thought they'd honestly be better at handling her but welp, guess I'm wrong. Her feelings are truly valid, and I'm glad she actually let this out to somebody at least, and not keep it to herself too long, even if it's to Sun.
It felt odd seeing Sun go quiet and not say anything, it made things awkward(prolly cuz it is, imagine wanting to be in a date but ended up hearing somebody trauma dump on you), i do understand why though, at one point, apologies just doesn't matter anymore, cuz what can you say? What can you do? Your brother's behavior is not your responsibility, he's a goddamn adult, Monty's a goddamn adult.
I'm glad they're not together, cuz that'd be unhealthy as hell. Rosie deserves a much prettier man/woman though LOL
One hope I have for the Tyrant arc (that probably won't happen) is Tyrant does something similar to what Titan did when Titan was throwing out Cosmos' trauma, revealing all the things Cosmos kept deep down...
I want Tyrant to do that... but to the extreme.
I want Tyrant to expose all the things Sun kept buried deep down. His hatred for Moon, his dislike of Monty, his insecurities that he thought he conquered. I want Tyrant to reveal those and push those to the forefront, but I also want him to call out a lot of the stuff that has happened in the show. I want him to call out Dark Sun, I want him to call out the Sun paradise and Moon haven on their own hypocrisy, I want Tyrant to call out each Celestial family member personally, and be like "But you already knew all that deep down. You just didn't want to say it cause you all still want to BELIEVE... that you're good people."
I want Tyrant to shake the very foundation of the show and leave the characters AND us sitting there like "Did Tyrant have a point?"
I’ve seen people say that Sun’s isolation is probably an accident because Tsams is more focused at the moment on Moon’s memory loss or something like that.
I fully believe that Sun’s isolation from almost everyone is on purpose, it sets up the perfect opportunity for Sun to be blamed with something like him being distance and/or Tyrant being able to come and recruit Sun easily.
And due to isolation Sun would either struggle to get the chance to tell someone(and be taken seriously) or join Tyrant.
Imaging how fucking terrifying TSAMS would be if Sun was a child and Moon was his dad.
Huge post incoming of me basically explaining the TSAMS lore but Suns a child and Moons his dad.
This is also in Suns POV. This is very rushed since its a lot to write.
Like, so you’re stuck in a body with someone who’s supposed to be your dad, but he wants to see you suffer for no reason and hates you. And you feel pain whenever you have to switch control for the body.
And when you separate, you have to watch the kids all alone while YOU'RE a kid! And you’re getting all stressed out because the kids are misbehaving. And your dad can’t help you because he’s off exploring being in his own body. And you black out and wake up to blood and dead kids all around you. The ones YOU were supposed to protect and watch over. And you blame yourself, when in reality, it wasn’t you who did it.
Now imagine, you’re stuck with a dad who does sketchy shit and is a criminal. And his BEST FRIEND is a criminal as well. They mess with the government, putting you and him in danger. And he ALLOWS that horrible influence of a friend around you.
And since Suns a kid in this au, the other probably wouldn’t treat him seriously and would take Moons abuse as ‘parenting’. And you don’t have really any friends your age. And you’re stuck with an abusive dad and your Creator is no where to be found and he doesn’t give a shit about you or your dad.
Now, you figure out that your father left his homicide code in YOU and now you have something in your head wanting to hurt you and your dad. And you’re the one getting blamed for it.
And now, because of that code, your dad has a sentient being in his head as well. You’re scared. Because what if you and your dad lose control of your bodies fully? And you’re also used as a vessel to get this all powerful artifact that your dad made.
And let’s talk about running from the government after you were taken and forced to be interviewed. And the homicide code in you snaps the guys neck. So now you’re on the run with your dad who’s slowly going insane. And he tells you that all you do is clean up his messes. And then he hits you.
And if that’s not bad enough, you now have to fight a wither storm!
Now onto when Eclipse got the star. Now everyone’s hates you and your dad because Eclipse used the star.
And months later, your dad sacrifices himself for his Killcode. And now you’re left with a dad who has no memory of you or anyone. And Eclipse still has the star. Oh. And NOW you have a sister you have to take care of as well. Oh! And everyone still hates you!
And you realize Lunars dead. And the last conversation you had was yelling at him.
Now your new dad finds a good version of Eclipse. And you manage to help in killing Eclipse. But your bodies damaged by it.
Oh. And the entire thing with Sun killing Bloodmoon happens. And you feel extremely guilty and you see hallucinations of that murderer.
Oh. And the entire thing with Ruin happens. And you have to kill Bloodmoon again!
Oh. And a year later, you have to kill your new dad after his best friend dies and he goes insane! Which you also watched as he faded away!
And 2 old dad comes back. You try to set boundaries, but a year later, he doesn’t respect you or your boundaries. But also, your dead dad comes back in a new form. And you have to fucking send him to a pocket dimension (?) to get killed again!
Oh, and you got into a fight with your dad again because he his something from you again even when he promised not to hide anything from you! And everyone takes his side. Barely anyone takes you seriously and thinks your petty.
And your dad has people who love him and take him seriously. Meanwhile you’re treated like a young spoiled child who’s immature.
It’s like a horror movie.
This post was very rushed due to all the writing I had to do. That’s why Dazzle wasn’t mentioned in this post. But she became Suns younger sister instead of Sun becoming her guardian.
Also. I remember one of @weirdcoregal35 recent posts of Solar and Jack fighting. I thought: “Yo. What if Sun was built to be Moons kid and the entire plot continued the same.”
Today's episode gave me a lot of conflicting judgments.
First off, the memory in Joy's head is done so beautifully i absolutely love it, it's a very different change of pace but it's looking great.
I understand from Joy's side of story, as she is just like how Sun was. Moon hurt Sun but Sun care too much to really do anything let him go. Same seems to go with Joy and Mel.
Sun seems to be slightly more blunt than he was before. With Dahlia, he seems understanding with it but with Joy, he just seem to be frustrated. I guess because of the similarities between them. I won't say Sun is wrong, his way of saying it is making things tense and more difficult, but his reasons are rather acceptable. He means well, didn't want Joy to be stuck with the thoughts of Mel, Sun was and is also in that spot, so i was kind of expecting a lil more understanding towards Joy's feelinggss?
I wonder what'll happen in Sun and Moon's relationship after this, will it change? Will Sun kept it in until Moon got his head right?
What abt Mel and Joy? Will we know more abt them?
I read frorm somebody that said that they could be swap universes, but idk if that'd be right, we don't exactly know the actual thing that happened between Mel and Joy just yet. So i think it's too early to assume they didn't have a healthy and working relationship, but like, imagine they are actually different dimensions (swap au, let's say) and they ended up staying with one another, that'd be neat.
btw the tsams x verity thing would be pretty simple. Verity is Eclipse. Mob would either be Moon or Sun, leaning more towards Sun rn. Twixxel would be Sun/Moon, and Grox would be Monty. Yeah.
Moon really fits Twixxel honestly, as he's the one who didn't believe it at first until he's seen it with his own eye, the one finding solution, and the one who died first.
Sun fits Mob in some way as he was the one who is dealing with Verity and the one who deal with the death of the other and having no choice but to deal with it.
Eclipse is kind of Verity but slightly different. He still dislike Moon but now he got an attachment to Sun(not in a romantic way), and that he's stuck with Sun. The difference is Verity actually turns out to care abt Mob later on, Eclipse is still slowly melting his ice around Sun. I can never see him being fully attached to Sun, but in some way, he'll prolly somewhat care.
Monty def fits Grox though, at least old Monty would
It'd be a great au though, the idea that Eclipse persona could be change from canon to actually made him actually care for Sun while Sun who didn't wanna be in this life or death situation but at the same time, he care enough to come back and stay.
