If you don’t already know the song, “Are You Listening?” by Lydia the Bard is VERY much a Sun song

FUCK YES IT IS! Yessss, it is so perfect for Sun and his struggle to be heard only to be smothered again and again. He's calling out to be heard and his family won't listen, especially Moon.

Moon thinks he's listening, thinks he's such a good brother and is so self-congratulatory, meanwhile Sun's screaming until his voice box burns out. And that's if he's not shut up by his own fucking family.

That one's goin' to the playlist! I love Lydia the Bard's music. And I don't recall if I've shared it before, but her song "Afraid of the Quiet" also fits Sun perfectly!

And honestly, the song you suggested reminded me of how I wanted to check out I Got No Time (my favorite version being Caleb Hyles' cover) because the "I'm stuttering, I'm stuttering again! No one will listen and no one will understand because I'm crying as much as I speak, 'cause no one likes me when I shriek" line also feels incredibly fitting for Sun. Maybe the full song isn't super fitting but it vibes right.

So, I've always been a bit of a diehard for Sun (even before tsams) and I LOVE mirrorshipping, so him having counterparts was just like them feeding me a five-course gourmet meal.

I don't watch the show anymore (because as we know, I left the fandom, the show got tiring for me to watch) so this is really just my own au, most of these headcanons won't make sense to the show's canon (inevitably)

I like to headcanon that they all have very different eyesight (very tiny detail hehe) I like the idea that both Sun and KS are legally blind, KS just refuses to wear his glasses cus he thinks it makes him look stupid, I'm not a huge nerd on this stuff I just really like the idea. I did give DS glasses in an older piece, but I think I meant for them to just be reading glasses.

I'm not a huge enjoyer of all the celestial family being in the same house due to their dysfunction because it reminds me of how overstimulating my own house was before I started living with my grandparents (The reasons I left are personal, but I will not willingly go back) so Sun and Dazzle moves out and starts living in a house with KS and DS.

(as I write this I am reminded my favorite trope is found family) I've also really like to headcanon them all as Dazzles dads, I never figured out how she'd differentiate them by name, probably different variations of dad (HC she just thinks they're dating Sun when they start coming in through the front door instead of sneaking or teleporting in before they all moved in together). I have a whole bunch of headcanons on DS and KS as her other dads, like a surprisingly responsible KS, a surprisingly irresponsible DS (because I said so), and a very sleepy Sun who is unaware they're taking care of her at all cus I headcanon he's a workaholic (DS and KS do not like this and insist they can pick up some of his work, he insists he's fine, and then passes out for like a day and they force him to take a week off)

I like to headcanon that KS, DS, and Sun all sleep in the same bed, Sun usually sleeps in the middle and somewhat like a normal person, KS sleeps on one side and cuddles up to whoever's closest, DS sleeps on the other side and either sleeps like a Victorian child dying of the plague or he's doing something like KS.

I'm sure I have more but you may have to be more specific, sorry if I made you wait lol sometimes I forger about asks

Okay. An au where Sun is dating Dahlia and Carme. Because he has all the huzz. And the relationship is sort of new, only around for a few weeks.

So when Sun confesses he’s dating them to his family, Nexus comes back from the fucking dead. Gasping for air as he’s randomly materialized.

“*Gaaasspp* My brother is dating someone! I have to make sure they don’t do shit to him!”

And then just teleports to there house and breaks in through the kitchen windows. Because he’s been dead for a year or so. Bros not knocking.

And everyone’s just screaming because yo, Nexus is somehow back. And Nexus just walks over to Sun in the chaos. And stars shaking him by the shoulders. Talking about how he’d kill the two of them if they hurt him. And Suns just staring at his youngest brother in his og evil form. Like 2024 og Nexus.

And then he realizes he was evil. And then he hugs Sun because he thinks that’s evil. His mind is a little wonky from randomly coming back into existence.

Suns just standing there getting hugged while everyone’s freaking out. And Dahlia and Carme are just siting at the table so confused. Like who tf is this person.

And it all ends with Sun getting Nexus back. Because Nexus’s dead conscious couldn’t let Sun have boyfriends without letting them know he will end them if they hurt his older brother.
