Addressing the Recent Controversy Surrounding TFC and the Debate Over baidaoâs Remarks
When Communication Devolves into War, We All Become Prisoners of Prejudice
What began as a discussion about character storylines has ultimately spiraled into cyberbullying rife with regional and national biases. If this is what people call the "charm" of the internet, then it is a most absurd one indeed.
The entire incident started with nothing more than a girlâs anxious inquiry. Baidaoâs comments were never directed at the original posterâs analysis; rather, she turned to a dubbing artist in the comment sectionâsomeone regarded as a semi-official representativeâto ask if romantic undertones might develop between Harlequin and Pierrot, while openly voicing her fears and concerns. In both her post and replies to others in the comment section, she repeatedly emphasized that she had no intention of hindering Nekoâs creative process; she merely hoped that similar ambiguous hints would not appear in other story routes. Yet this restrained plea was completely twisted out of context. She was labeled a "creator oppressor," a "meddler in game development," and a "homophobe," mocked as a "petulant child throwing a tantrum because things didnât go her way."
Some claimed she was trying to control Nekoâs game and force him to revise storylines she dislikedâwhat arrogant nonsense this was. The respect and admiration Baidao has for Neko have always been evident: she has created numerous derivative works based on his games, and when Neko was previously targeted by cyberbullying, she not only spoke out domestically to call for an end to the attacks but also comforted him privately, a kindness Neko deeply appreciated. That two such gentle individuals have now been thrust into the eye of the storm due to a misunderstanding is truly lamentable.
People were quick to anger at the mere suspicion that Neko was being wronged, rushing to confront Baidao under the guise of "standing up for justice." Yet they forgot that every word Baidao wrote was born of pain and overwhelming negative emotions. Words have always carried little weight online, as exemplified by the cruel comment directed at her: "No one cares what this twenty-year-old girl is thinking. After all, you do realize youâre a public figure, donât you?"
With that one sentence, a "war" erupted. As I watch this farce unfold, Iâve come to recognize the behavioral pattern of both opposing sides: we hurl insults at each other, neither bothering to understand the otherâs stance nor respecting their interpretations. We are eager to argue, yet unwilling to pause and communicate calmly. We dismiss each other as biased and unreasonable, leading to a vicious cycle of insults, attacks, defamation, and abuse. Who still remembers that all we initially wanted was a peaceful, rational conversation? In the end, everyone lost sight of their original intent, driven only by the desire to "win" this meaningless conflict.
To make matters more absurd, the core of the dispute has shifted repeatedly with each retelling and misinterpretation, morphing into countless bizarre claims. Some argue that the intense backlash from opponents stems from homophobia rooted in cultural and environmental differences. But this assertion is both shallow and ridiculous. Every country has its share of ignorant and backward-minded people, just as it has open-minded and progressive ones. We are all ordinary human beings, shaped merely by different upbringings and educational backgrounds. When stereotypes run rampant, can we truly claim to be engaging in equal dialogue?
People from one side brand those from the other as selfish and violent; in turn, they are dismissed as naive and narrow-minded. The walls of prejudice grow taller by the day. I canât help but feel a bitter amusement at the heart of this controversyâit is a tragedy destined to repeat itself. History and warfare have long warned us how fragile trust and peace between humans can be, yet farces like this continue to play out time and again.
This real-life scenario reminds me vividly of the first encounter with Pierrot in the game: he was bullied simply because people held preconceived biases against himâtall in stature, eccentric in appearance, and silent by nature. Labeled an "abnormality" just for being different, he became a target of unwarranted attacks. Such is the nature of humanity: we delude ourselves into thinking that ostracizing those who are different is an act of "upholding justice," blind to how our arrogance and ignorance only serve to reveal our own pathetic selves. We tell ourselves we are doing "good," while in reality, we are wielding words like knives against an innocent person. This quarrel has laid bare the deep-seated prejudices of both sidesâwe are all such pitiful creatures.
Some may wonder why this controversy has sparked such fierce reactions. Please forgive us foreigners for our limited expressive abilities, and for the cold, restrictive definitions found in dictionaries across different languages. Even in daily life, misunderstandings arise when we rely solely on words to communicate; when filtered through the barrier of translation software, conveying the warmth and emotion behind those words becomes nearly impossible. It is precisely because of this that Baidaoâs comment section, private messages, and repost replies have been flooded with malicious "well-wishes."
She was bombarded with private messages containing questions like: "Are you homophobic?" "If you donât like the game, then get out!" "Why play it if you hate it so much? Why not make your own game instead?" "Are you discriminating against this community? Youâre so rude and disgusting!" As her friend, I want to address what seemed like the most genuine question among them: Baidao is not homophobic. In fact, she is bisexualâshe has had both girlfriends and boyfriends in the past. It almost sounds like a joke: online, she created a male persona to ship herself with Pierrot; offline, she is a woman who also likes women. By any stretch of the imagination, the label of "homophobe" could not be further from the truth.
This line of questioning is no different from confronting someone face-to-face and demanding to know their sexual orientationâit is saturated with malice, prejudice, and provocation.
Words are truly incredible things. I wonder if anyone has noticed that throughout all this, I have maintained a calm tone, simply stating my observations as I watch this quarrel escalate.
Based on the limited information we gleaned through translation software, we can piece together the following plot thread: Harlequin has been secretly in love with Pierrot from the very beginning, consumed by jealousy when he realized Pierrotâs affections lay with Colombina. His constant antagonism toward Pierrot and deliberate attempts to get close to the playerâevery single actionâwere driven by his obsession with Pierrot. Eventually, this love curdled into hatred, yet Harlequin clung to it fiercely, believing that hatred lasts longer than love. At the very least, it ensured that Pierrotâs gaze would remain fixed on him, always. As he told Pierrot in the game, "Your eyes belong only to me now"âeven if those words were laced with hatred, he would have cherished that moment all the same.
The core of this controversy, however, revolves around the polyamorous storyline Neko intends to add. To be fair, polyamory is hardly an uncommon trope in storytelling; many of us even enjoy it. Nekoâs desire to explore this narrative direction is perfectly valid.
The crux of the issue lies in this: what kind of polyamorous relationship are we talking about here? Is it one where Harlequin and Pierrot set aside their past animosity and rekindle their friendship, bound together by their shared love for the player? Or is it a tangled love triangleâHarlequin loving both Pierrot and the player, Pierrot reciprocating Harlequinâs feelings while also loving the player, and the player caring for both of them? The latter is simply beyond our ability to accept. In our understanding, Pierrotâs love for the player is deep and unwavering, and this kind of storyline is far outside the realm of our expectations.
Even so, we are still willing to be understanding. Neko has his own creative vision, and he is fully entitled to refine his work as he sees fitâwe have never sought to control that.
What truly pushed Baidao and those who share her stance to the brink of collapse, though, was a "response" from the past. You may not be aware that Neko was once targeted by cyberbullying simply for sharing a post depicting a romantic relationship between Pierrot and Harlequinâand that was when the seeds of this current conflict were sown. At the time, when Baidao reached out to comfort Neko privately, she asked him if he supported the idea of pairing these two characters together. Nekoâs reply was: "I just love and support this kind of fan-created content." His words implied that he had no intention of writing a romantic storyline for these two characters himself.
It was this response that put their minds at ease: those people continued playing the game, and Baidao kept creating derivative works for her favorite character. In other words, neither she nor they ever anticipated having to confront such a plot developmentâafter all, Baidaoâs love for Pierrot is sincere and unwavering. So when she learned that romantic undertones might be introduced between Harlequin and Pierrot, her breakdown was entirely understandable.
She posted her thoughts while grappling with overwhelming emotions, yet her words were as restrained as possible, and her tone and replies remained gentle throughout. For this reason, please stop being so harsh toward her. The claim that she incited her fans to cyberbully Neko is utterly baseless. While it is true that she has a sizeable fanbase, this does not mean she must remain silent when something she cares deeply about is at stakeâand this aligns perfectly with Nekoâs own stance. He is free to express his creative ideas, just as she is free to voice her anxieties. Must she create a secret account just to vent her frustrations?
Furthermore, she never once tagged Neko directly in her posts. She merely turned to the person in the comment section who "might represent Nekoâs views"âthe dubbing artistâand asked: "Is this true? Are you telling the truth?" All she ever wanted was a clear answer. Those who accuse her of deliberately using her fans to fuel cyberbullying can finally stop. To this day, she continues to emphasize domestically that people should refrain from insulting or pressuring Neko, urging everyone to remain rational. She has even suggested that if people truly cannot accept the new storyline, they should simply walk away and enjoy the game in their own little circles.
In fact, Neko and Baidao have already been in contact, and their communication has concluded on a friendly note.
Having said all this, I believe my core message has been made clear. Finally, I would like to address these so-called "righteous" well-wishers.
I will not dwell on whether you made inaccurate remarks about Baidao out of misunderstanding; instead, I will focus solely on your actions. You claim to abhor the "cyberbullying" you accuse Baidao of perpetrating against Neko, yet your current behavior is exactly the kind of conduct you claim to despise. In Baidaoâs comment section, on other posts, and in her private messages, you use words to fan the flames of this violent controversy and make it escalate further. Your motives and sarcasm are also a form of pressure and attack, flaunting your "victory" and parading your so-called "moral high ground."
You have positioned yourselves as her opponents, hiding behind the guise of "supporting the official team" and "standing alongside Neko." This sense of entitlement has laid bare your deep-seated malice. No one thought to spare the "naive, childish girl" you speak of a shred of dignity or a way out. Even though she was aware that some people held opposing views, even though she saw others creating content favoring the pairing of Harlequin and Pierrot, she never once pushed her own opinions on them or in their spaces, nor did she ever act with disrespect toward anyone. The girl you dismiss as "overbearing and crazy" is far more tolerant than you will ever be.
I do not seek to deny the original intention behind your defense of Neko, but I cannot condone your personal attacks against Baidao. Even if Baidaoâs words may have seemed somewhat intense to some, she never once attacked anyone in her original post. But you? You have dissected her character from every angleâher life experience, her age, her mindset, her stanceâtwisting her words out of context to belittle her and tear her down completely. By contrasting yourselves with her, you parade your so-called "maturity" and "superiority" in front of everyone, adopting such a condescending attitude that it sends a chill down oneâs spine.
As I stated earlier, communication between people is like looking into a mirrorâhow you perceive others reflects nothing but your true self. All your assumptions and criticisms only serve to reveal one thing: you harbor inexplicable, unprovoked malice toward this girl.
Watching people from all over the world spout comments that are nothing but pure negative emotion in the name of their own "justice" and "anger," I scoff, thinking only one thing: you are utterly hypocritical.
This incident offers us an opportunity to reflect anew and learn a vital life lessonâlanguage is a weapon of immense power.
I welcome discussion, but I will not bother responding to any comments that are nothing more than mindless, emotional rants.

The Freak Circus is a really good game.
I wouldn't call it the 'best game ever made' or 'the greatest game of all time'â mostly because we tend to think of more traditional video games with that label (like Skyrim or Pokemon or Minecraft). It still is a game, of courseâ a visual novel!
In that regard I would call The Freak Circus more like a story, an interactive story that you are part of as the player. Stories can be complex, just as much as the characters within them. You can have really bad stories with hollow themes and one-dimensional characters, a pace that moves too quickly or slowly or plot points that make absolutely no sense.
But you can also have good storiesâ stories that have characters with their own feelings and perceptions and preferences, a compelling plot or world that immerses you, of conflicts and issues that feel organic and genuine as are the solutions to those issues. Sometimes good stories are messy. Sometimes they're painful. Often times, they bring out emotions from us because we can genuinely empathize with the characters and their pain, their joy, their anger.
And I would call The Freak Circus a really good story at its heart. Neko has done a fantastic job with telling a story about a group of traumatized individuals who have bonded with one another and have tried to make a life for themselves.... but that trauma has not healed. It is still there, still gripping each of them in different ways and severities. Grief is a horrible pain, one that I myself have experienced in many different ways (the loss of a family member, the loss of friendships, the loss of health or connection with people I've known), and it can do a lot of things to a person.
One could even say that grief is a theme of The Freak Circus, grief and autonomy and how they impact us and how we see the world and its peoples. How do you move forward when something horribly traumatic happens to you? When you've lost someone you've cared about? When you've been abused and starved?
All of the circus is grieving in some way or another, and all of them have some trauma with a sense of their own autonomy and their inherent right to it, to make decisions and have their own feelings on something.
And then there's you, the MC, the player character.
Through your actions and decisions, you can decide how this story may endâ through the route that you follow, you can decide whether you fall for Pierrot, for Harlequin, for both of them at the same time or not at all. These are all separate routes, and each one handles these themes of grief and autonomy differently because these characters all have their own stories to tell and growth to go through.
If you happen to choose the route where you romance both Pierrot and Harlequin at the same time (a polyamorous route), they may also develop feelings for one another at same time. These feelings may have been there before, they also might notâ these feelings may be romantic, but itâs up to the player on how they choose to interpret them.
If you donât like the possibility that Pierrot and Harlequin could have romantic feelings for eachother AND you as the player character in that polyamorous route, then this game may not be the story for you.
There nothing wrong if that makes you uncomfortable and you choose to avoid it, you donât need a reason to dislike itâ but that possibility will be there in one of the four routes currently planned for the game. You as the MC choose how these character heal from their pain and trauma. How they grow and change as characters together and alone and with the MC.
Because this isnât a dating game or an otomeâ itâs a visual novel. Itâs a story, and itâs a damn good story at that. And your version of that story might be different from someone elseâs and thatâs okay. The fact that a possibility exists that two of these traumatized characters might find healing and forgiveness and romance in one another alongside the love and warmth of the MC at the same time in a polyamorous relationship is okay.
But if that possibility, the mere possibility genuinely upsets you, then I say with empathy, honesty and respect to your own mental health that you might need to go find another game that suits what youâre looking for.
My game is about many things, love, pain, suffering, differences, grief, hope, and trauma. But above all, my game deals with dark themes. There are many triggers, and I have always made it very clear that it is intended for adults, a mature audience. I have been very explicit about many of the things that may happen throughout this journey. There are many different types of endings that I am planning. There are bad endings, and very bad endings. There are endings for each character, and not all of them will necessarily be romantic. I will not promise anything to anyone, because my game is still in development. The script is not finished yet, and many things may change. Yes, there is an ending where the MC can be with both Harlequin and Pierrot at the same time, I have mentioned this several times, but I still have no certainty about how these things will play out. If this is something you cannot deal with, then perhaps my game is not for you. This game is my circus tent. It is my world. And I will tell this story in the way that feels right to me. So donât tie yourself to my circus, if you canât handle the monsters, it will be better for both of us. I'm staying away from Tumblr at the moment. There are many things I want to say, but my mind isn't in a good enough state to communicate them. Soon I'll have help dealing with Tumblr for The Freak Circus, because I can no longer handle it alone.
First, Iâd like to clarify:
My words were polished with a translation tool, so they might come across as a bit harsh, or the meaning could be slightly misrepresented. Please kindly understand!
I have never opposed anyone who ships romantic relationships between the clowns; itâs just something I personally cannot accept. That said, I only quietly block such content and have never criticized others or told anyone, "You canât ship this pair."
Now Iâd like to share my thoughts:
This is a reply under the post I shared earlier. The commenter is a friend of Neko's â I just listened to what he said and am sharing my thoughts in response.
To fellow players
As ordinary players, we have no right to dictate what others should like. The only thing we can do is manage our own experience and proactively avoid content that makes us uncomfortable â this is something everyone can do.
To Neko
Regarding your plan to add a romantic storyline between Pierrot and Harlequin in the gameâs ending, I sincerely hope you will not go through with it.
Hereâs why: Do you remember your game was initially targeted at a female audience? Your friend mentioned youâre just telling a story, not selling a product, but the truth is youâve gained substantial support through this game â monthly voluntary donations from fans who love your work on Patreon and Ko-fi, plus income from official game merchandise. Since youâre profiting from the gameâs popularity, I truly hope you can consider all playersâ perspectives, instead of dismissing our concerns with "donations are voluntary".
Do you still remember why you received those malicious private messages before? Iâm sorry to bring this up again⊠but your game has grown extremely popular now, and the previous controversy clearly shows most players cannot accept romantic relationships between the male leads. I urge you to think this through carefully; online backlash can be terrifying, and I donât want you to go through that kind of harm again.
I defended you on both domestic and international platforms back then, and you told me you only supported fan-made content â I trusted you, so I sincerely hope you wonât let me downâŠđ
You need to understand that for many people, itâs really hard to accept their favorite "romantic interest" having a romantic bond with his close companion whoâs by his side every day.
If youâre going to say, "Iâm just adding one extra ending; you donât have to play this route", Iâd like to ask: To set the groundwork for this ending, wonât you have to design plots that showcase the past romantic feelings between Pierrot and Harlequin? That would mean all players will inevitably come across such content, which will be extremely distressing and hurtful for those who dislike itâŠđ
If youâre really eager to create romantic storylines between the clowns, could you please consider not including them in the main game? You could make them into side stories, bonus content, or short comics with clear warnings before release, so people who dislike such content can actively avoid it and everyone can enjoy your work more peacefully.
Besides, thereâs no doubt they are not blood-related. Based on the current game plot, Iâd rather interpret their past bond as "family-like affection", especially between Pierrot and Harlequin. Iâve seen posts saying Harlequin once had a secret crush on Pierrot, but Pierrot liked Columbina â thatâs why Harlequin tried to seduce Columbina. Whatâs more, you mentioned there might be a love triangle ending featuring PierrotĂMCĂHarlequin. I assumed it meant both Pierrot and Harlequin like MC â please donât tell me the actual meaning is Harlequin likes Pierrot while Pierrot likes MC, and the player in this plot doesnât mind their feelings for each other⊠I want to say something more explicit, but itâs just too terrifying for me. Iâm sorry⊠I really canât accept it⊠Itâs so frighteningđđ
Whatâs worse, the reason youâre not making this plot happen is because the coding would be too difficult, not because youâre considering the players. If you really just want to create your own story, you shouldnât charge for it or profit from this IP â thatâs hard to justify.
Iâm saying all this because I truly love this game and the character Pierrot. Iâve donated to you, bought two official Pierrot plush toys, created nearly 600 artworks for him, made a figure, plus many videos and comics since July 26, 2025. I sincerely want this game to keep getting better.
Actually, I faintly noticed some ambiguous hints between Pierrot and Harlequin in Jesterâs story on Day 2, but I chose to overlook them because I want to believe we players are not treated as mere tools by the clowns⊠The game is still unfinished, so thereâs still room for adjustment. I just hope youâll think this through thoroughly.
The following are the words my friend would like to say.
Hey everyone! Iâll be updating my works one after anotherâfollow me if you like them! đIâm a writer from China, currently obsessing over cre
Do you realize the consequences of this decision? So many people who love these characters individually will be hurt by this storyline. Right now, there are already many players who openly oppose this ship, and if this plot is added, all the pent-up conflicts will erupt at once. Those who support the ship will use your official response to attack those who donât, and the entire community will be torn apart. The gameâand youâwill never know peace again.
Iâm sorry if this sounds harsh, and I donât know your personal thoughts, but I was deeply hurt by the response from your friend, who speaks as if they represent the official stance. And Iâm truly worried about youâthis path will lead to terrible outcomes.
This is no longer just a game you made for fun. It has become a community built by all of us who create, share, and love it together. Weâve poured our time and passion into this, and thatâs what made it the warm, connected family it is today.
Neko, I know youâre a gentle, thoughtful person, and I know youâre under a lot of pressure right now, with so many voices telling you what you shouldnât do. Youâre torn between making the game you want to make and the expectations of others. But I need to tell you: the moment you gained a large following, started charging for Q&As, and released merchandise, you took on a new identityânot just a hobbyist, but the official creator of this game. Its popularity has exceeded your wildest dreams, and so many people love itâincluding me. Iâve written long analytical posts about the game, the five circus members, and the plot, and even created fanfiction for them.
I truly adore you and your game because I can see how much heart and effort youâve put into it. Even though my analyses are full of my own subjective views, I know youâve crafted these characters with immense care. The game is so rich with details that Iâve been able to uncover so much, and that level of dedication to what you love is why I respect you so much.
But with this popularity comes praiseâand also responsibility. You can no longer create just for yourself. Iâm sorry to say this, but it was the selfless creators in our community who promoted and built this gameâs audience; thatâs why TFC became so popular. I myself discovered it through their work, was moved by it, and joined in creating content too.
I know you feel constrained, even confused about your original vision. I donât want to stop you from pursuing what you wantâI just want to warn you: Are you truly prepared for the consequences? For the heartbreak and betrayal that so many of your fans will feel? This will leave a wound that no one will forget.
Thatâs all I want to say. Please keep the discussion rational and respectfulđđ»đđ»đđ»
thoughts on harlequinâs possible feelings for pierrot / greenapple / pierroquin
okkk so i wanted to make this analysis-type thing because i feel like i need more ppl to see harlequin x pierrot as more than just a joke/crackship bc based on official content so far i feel like itâs a plausible interpretation of the story that harlequin could have had or currently has some sort of one-sided feelings for pierrot (and if anyone wants to validate me for seeing this PLEASE DO IM FEELING CRAZY)
Oh a classic ship of âif I canât make you love me, Iâll make you hate me insteadâ, a mainstay of fandom circa the early-to-mid 2000âs /silly
But jokes aside, these are some FANTASTIC points! While I canât give you much aid or help into Harlequinâs thoughts with the start of the game, we absolutely do have a chance to really dig into his psyche and character as the game progressesâ I myself even questioned who exactly Harlequin was more jealous of from Jesterâs storytelling, and from all my experience in fandom I can tell that, as the old saying goes: âsomething queer is happening hereâŠâ when it comes to Harlequin and Pierrot.
Especially when you remember that this whole damn circus is traumatized and fucked up royally by their treatment and experiences, its not surprising that Harlequin might have some deluded or vastly incorrect way of interpreting love and affectionâ if we compare how he acts whenever the MC shows him *genuine* love, he always reacts with surprise and what seems to be some level of genuine discomfort⊠because heâs just not used to it. This is a character who has developed all sorts of emotional walls and boundaries, who has developed genuinely horrible habits of (lacking) self-care to avoid getting himself hurt, and Iâm frankly surprised the majority of the fandom hasnât clocked that yet!
Pierrot likewise is just as complicatedâ he knows love as obsession, he knows emotions in their extremes, and he also has every right to feel the way he does after what Harlequin did (though keep in mind we still donât know a lot of the reasons behind that OR what genuinely Harlequin was thinking when it happened).
Their ship can work, I openly talk about it myself in how much I enjoy it. I adore the emotional complexity that these characters have to explore together since a genuine old friendship IS THERE, thereâs just a lot of grief and pain to mend, a lot of things to discuss, a lot of heartache for each of them to understand.
First, Iâd like to clarify:

This started as a joke in how Pierrot would record a ringtone for the MC, and then it all went down from there since I figured it was a great opportunity to play with the voices for the full cast! I am especially fond of how Ticket Taker and Doctor came out :3c
Feel free to download and use these as actual ringtones if you like!
Though maybe not Harlequin's unless you're particularly brave or quick about picking the phone up.
@nekoboydreams I can't be held responsible if you hear any of these in the wild.....
Yeap, and now Iâve got a new ringtone! >_> I LOVE IT DARTH

Harada (Name) was pretty much a gem to others. An alpha so sweet that he rivaled omegas. He was beautiful, a bit feminine compared to other alphas but most didnât mind.
His family didnât care too much about him. Despite everyone else loving him, he was weak compared to his older brother. A stereotypical alpha that was cold and heartless. Only saw omegas as a breeding stock for their alpha pups.
Most now didnât think that way. Omegas were equals now and had protection over themselves. Of course there was the weirdos, like (Name)âs brother and family, they were really an outlier.
The Harada family were well off to say the least. Their house was certainly large. Nothing to scoff over. But (Name) never knew just what his family did. They wouldnât tell him. He first believed they were lawyers when he found a diploma for law school.
But they wouldnât give him an answer. They even told him to no longer bother them about his silly questions. (Name) had stopped asking after that.
His older sister, a beta named Kokomo, was much nicer to him. Maybe the only family member that liked him. His big brother, Haru, hated him. He wasnât even sure why.
When (Name) reached the age of 18, he was finally going off to college. But he was forced to chose a college that was close in his area so heâd stay at the house.
In hindsight, he shouldâve known that it had to do something with the secrets his parents were hiding.
â(Name)! You paying attention?â Hana huffed, shaking her head. She was one of the few true friends he had recently made.
âSorry.. a lot on my mind.â
âLike what?â Kei, another friend, asked.
âMy parents. They havenât come home yetâŠâ
âOh,â Hana sighed. âProbably got stuck with some stuff at work. Nothing to worry about.â
Yeah, (Name) thought to himself. Maybe he was just freaking himself out. He continued the night with his friends, ending the study session with new confidence for his test tomorrow.
He walked home alone, like always. A hum on his lips as he lightly skipped home, excited to see Kokomo at home. If his parents and Haru still werenât home, heâd get to enjoy himself with his favorite person in the whole world.
A grin spread on his lips as he picked up the pace. He was lucky enough that his house was only twenty minutes walk away from the university. Being an alpha had its perks in that he didnât fear walking home alone.
Once he reached home, he noticed it was quiet. Way too quiet. (Name) felt a rush of panic in himself, wondering if anything went wrong. He rushed to Kokomoâs bedroom, hoping and praying that sheâd just be asleep in bed.
And she was. (Name) sighed with relief, closing her bedroom door back once he confirmed she was just asleep. He shook his head, he was going crazy.
(Name) then just decided he needed a shower and to take a good nights rest for his big day tomorrow.
Once he made it to his room, he saw his window open. Weird. He shrugged it off and closed it, glancing around quickly to see if something was off.
But it was normal.
With nothing odd roaming about, he pulled off his clothes for his shower. (Name)âs body was smaller and slimmer than any other alpha heâs ever met. More feminine likeâeven with his facial features.
If it wasnât for his scent, most would assume he was a taller omega. (Name) had always felt insecure about it but he still had many omegas and betas want to date him even with his features so he mainly ignored it.
âWow, a show? Just for me, baby?â
(Name) shrieked, covering his body with his hands. A random man came out from the bathroom connected his room. Fuck, he forgot to check the bathroom. He panicked, wondering if he could just sprint to his door and run out.
But he couldnât. The man was right near it, he could easily grab him. The window also wasnât a good idea since he was on the second floor. Falling to the ground might break some bones.
He also couldnât just leave Kokomo alone with this strange man.
âWho are you?!â
The man smiled. âYour mommy and daddy havenât told you?â
âTold me what?â
He sighed, âyour parents suck, huh?â
A scream was heard as (Name) felt himself freeze up. No. Why didnât he think that this man would be alone? All this staring and trying to talk to this man gave whoever his parents were enough time to get to his sister.
(Name) gasped as the man was suddenly in front of him with a napkin in his hands. Before he could even try to dodge it, the napkin was pressed firmly ïżŒonto his face, directly into his nose. Whatever was on the napkin, he quickly felt himself slipping away into a deep slumber.
All he could see was the smirk on the manâs lips before his eyes closed.
ê„
â(Name)!â
A groan left (Name)âs throat as he craned his neck around to get a look of what had happened. His eyes felt a little blurry, as he tried to take in what was happening. From his blurry vision, he could tell that he was still at home, just in the large living room.
He was on the floor, tied tightly around both arms and legs. A cry from his sister caused him to try and fight against the bonds but nothing happened. He wasnât even sure if his thoughts was cooperating with his body right now.
âHarada? We have your son and daughter hereïżŒâŠ if youâre done with hiding, come and get them before we leave a nice blood splatter for ya!â A voice chuckled.
No⊠was his family in a gang? Just what did they do?
A grip on his hair caused him to finally see more clearly. It was the man from the bathroom looking at home, a calm and calculating look on his face.
âHey, kid, weâll have to use you and your sister as bait, alright? No hard feelings. We wonât hurt you.â
(Name) wasnât sure if he believed them but he couldnât argue. He felt so tired. The man placed his head back on the ground before walking away, leaving (Name) alone to ponder his situation.
There were more people with them. Maybe three others? Two alphas and two betas. The man was certainly an alpha and felt like a leader. (Name) couldnât see the others but heard their whispering of something his parents and brother owed them.
Were they an omega trafficking ring? He wouldnât put it past them to do such a thing. A grunt left him as he tried to move around to face the couch from his spot on the ground. He could hear Kokomo crying, pleading on letting her and him live.
(Name) wished he could hug her but all he could do was try and turn his body around.
âYour parents, Miss Harada, are in a bit of trouble. They decided to kidnap our bossâs sister for their little shit of a son. But they didnât get far.â A random woman laughed, an alpha.
âPapaâs dead. So now we only have big bro and mama. Letâs see what happens to them hm?â
(Name) could heard Kokomoâs cries on the news about their fatherâs apparent death. He couldnât find himself to care. They really tried to kidnap some random omega woman for Haru? Why couldnât he just find someone?
âThatâs not all,â a new voice chimed in. âPapa and mama have some crimes they must answer for. And big bro was about to join those little crimes.â A beta male said.
âWhat crimes..?â Kokomo asked.
âTrafficking ring.â The bathroom man said. âIt was stopped a week ago. Iâm sure thatâs when your parents left for their little work trip.â
And it was. (Name) didnât know how to feel but it was certainly anger building up. Was that really how they made their money? The luxury he lived in was built off the exploitation of innocent omegas?
âNo! Mom and dad arenât like that!â Kokomo yelled, but even (Name) could hear that she didnât believe herself.
Did they really know their parents when they focused solely on Haru?
âThe policeâŠâ (Name) muttered, earning eyes on him.
âWeâll send them after your mom and brother if they donât come,â the woman said.
âAnyway, arenât you going to go through with the plan?â A beta female said, startling (Name) when she grasped his hair and pulled him up. He grunted in pain, finally getting a clear look at Kokomo and the others.
Kokomo was clutching a pillow to her chest as she sat on the couch, staring at (Name) with a look of fear. He wished he could run to her and calm her down. But his body still felt weak.
Just what was that thing on the napkin?
âSo, how do you wanna do this? They need to see it,â she said, pulling out a knife. Kokomo screamed but was quickly silenced by the male beta. She gripped the hand covering her mouth as wet tears streamed down her face.
The female beta brought the knife towards (Name)âs cheek, pressing it into his skin. He felt completely silent, wishing they wouldnât go through with it.
But then Haru and his mother stormed into the room, looking completely calm despite the situation they were in. (Name) was not happy to see them but at least the bathroom man was distracted.
âKimura!â His brother yelled, a snarl on his lips. His disgusting scent filled the living room of burnt marshmallows as (Name) wanted to gag. The other people in the room seemed to agree with his feeling as they also looked mildly disgusted.
The bathroom man, Kimura, smirked. âHaru-Chan! Howâs it going? Thought you wouldnât leave that new home of yours. You too, mama.â
(Name)âs mother scowled. âYou already took my husband anyway from me! What more do you want?â
What Did she not see Kokomo and (Name) in custody of these gangsters?
Kimura hummed. âWell, I thought youâd care about your other kids but I guess I was wrongâŠâ
His mother only laughed. âCare about a feminine alpha and a disgusting girl who became a beta? You were sadly mistaken.â
The alpha woman shook her head, âwow, no wonder you had no problem having that trafficking ring.â
âThe things my family did to give us a roof over our head,â his mother exclaimed. Haru simply nodded in agreement.
âA roof over your head in favor of using those poor omegas?!â The beta woman gasped, pressing the knife deeper into his skin, causing a sliver of blood to appear on his cheek.
âYes. I did what I could for my husband and son. Those two just happened because his condom failed.â
Oh. He knew she didnât like him but to actually hear itâŠ
It actually hurt. Kokomo was now sobbing, not believing her own mother would say such words about her like that. Haruâs scent that had previously dominated the room was beginning to disappear, being dominated by something else.
Kimuraâs scent.
It was a scent of a rainy night in a forest. In any other time, (Name) wouldâve enjoyed it. But now it was angry. He somehow felt the urge to show to Kimura that he would not disobey him. Was it because he was a much stronger alpha?
âIâm sure you do care about the reputation of your family. Now thatâs basically gone, I guess I can just do what your son did to my sister.â Kimura muttered, walking over to (Name).
A look of panic washed over Haru and his mother. What they did his sister? Reputation gone? What the hell was he talking about.
Kimura grabbed the knife from the beta and pushed in deep, ignoring the cry from (Name) as he slashed downwards, effectively cutting his skin. Wet blood covered his left side of his face as Kimura soon did it to his right side, equal in length and area of his face.
(Name) felt himself whither in agony, the pain of being cut so deep as blood flowed down his face. He could hear Kokomo screaming as she was kept down on the couch by the alpha woman and the two betas.
Haru and his mother didnât even try to help. They only stood there in fear.
(Name) glanced up as Kimura tugged at his hair. He didnât think he could take anymore damage. His face would be permanently scarred now. Matching scars on both cheeks that traveled from his cheek bone to the middle of his cheeks.
âBut scarring her wasnât the only thing you did to herâŠ.â Kimura said, loud enough for Haru to hear. âYou didnât get to go through with fully going through with it but I will. Fair is unfair, yeah?â
With a sharp tug to pull his head back, Kimura kneeled down and bite down on (Name)âs scent gland. (Name)âs body rejected the claim, causing him to scream in pain. The physical contortion of his body rejecting the claim from an alpha almost made him completely pass out.
â(Name)!!! Please, donât hurt him!!â Kokomo cried. âHaru!!! Mommy!! Do something!!â
Kimura leaned back in and bit down on his scent gland again, earning another scream from (Name) the rejection was less violent but he still felt himself shiver in pain.
His body was against it. It didnât want it. He wasnât made to handle such bites.
(Name) could only see Haru and his mother just stare in fear. They really werenât going to do anything. He was going to be killed by the time Kimura was finished.
But (Name) wasnât even sure what the man was doing.
Was he trying to intentionally hurt him
âOnly need one more bite and then the process startsâŠâ Kimura muttered, looking back at Haru as if he was waiting for him to protest. Do anything to save his little brother from the worst pain imaginable.
But he only stared.
Kimura shrugged before his sharp teeth bit down on his scent gland, making (Name)âs body actually take this time. His sharp canines went through the gland, effectively claiming him as if he was an omega.
A cry left (Name)âs lips as his body convulsed in jolts of pain. He felt himself faint soon near after, wet tears in his eyes as he knew something terrible happened to his body.
And there was no way to reverse it.
ê„
A heavy body on (Name) stirred him awake as he looked around. He wasnât in the living room. And this certainly wasnât his home. He glanced down at the body in his chest to realize it was a Shiba Inu. The dog barked happily, noticing (Name) was awake.
(Name) felt any panic in his heart, disappear as he cuddled the dog. He could oddly feel himself purr in glee at the feeling of the dog. But it was odd. He never purred before at the touch of a dog.
Heâd seen other omegas do it but he never did.
(Name) reached over on the nightstand for anything but only found a tv remote. With nothing else, he turned on the tv, right to the news to see what date it was.
âGood morning! Iâm Yoshida Nana! Itâs October 18, at noon today. Itâs only been two weeks since the capture of Harada Asa and Harada Haru for their omega trafficking ring. Others have now been caught and charged for participating.â
âThe body of Harada Yuki has also been found. We once again thank the Kimura family for bringing the Haradaâs to justice and saving all of the victims that were tragically captured. Please, If you find any word of other rings or people who may have participated, report to the police immediately.â
(Name) covered his mouth as he gently pushed the dog off of him and rushed to the bathroom, kneeling down in front of the toilet as he threw up. He forgot. He forgot about everything his parents and brother had done.
No way.
No way.
He couldnât go back to normal after this. Omega traffickers?? People would think he had something to do with it. He was an alpha as well, he couldnât just say he had no idea without proof.
The dog whined as it pressed itâs wet nose against his leg, earning a soft smile from (Name). He sighed softly before getting up and walking over to the sink, looking in the mirror to see what has become of him.
He slept for so long. Two weeks?
(Name) gasped. Two matching scars were on his face. They were light, looking to not be too recent but they were still there. He felt a bit better at the fact theyâd be gone soon but how long did he have to wait?
Weeks? Years?
He glanced at over parts of his body and noticed he had gotten shorter. Much shorter. His 5â10 frame had gone down at most three inches? He had to be around 5â7 now? Maybe even 5â6. How did this happen?
His legs didnât look as long as they were. And his body.
It was skinny before. Thin as a pole but now it was plump. His chest had actual fluff. His thighs werenât just thin but actually had fat on it. His ass as well.. it wasnât flat anymore. There was a curve.
LikeâŠ
Like an omega.
He had features of an omegaâŠ.
No.
No.
(Name) felt himself panic. Not when he was finally confident in his features and secondary gender. How can it just be taken away from him as if it was nothing?
Why couldnât anything go right for him?!
Something inside of him was whining. Whining for someone to comfort him. An alpha? But he didnât have one. (Name) stumbled over to his bed, the tv still playing the news as he collapsed on the bed.
The dog was hot on his tail, barking as if it wanted to get (Name) to calm down. (Name) felt weak. He wanted to sleep. But he couldnâtânot on a bed that didnât feel like home.
He wanted KokomoâŠ
With his tired body, he lazily moved pillows and sheets around the bed as he built a makeshift nest. He reached down and pulled the dog onto the bed and laid down, finally able to sleep in somethingâŠ. More homey.
It was possibly only a few minutes but an hour to (Name) when he felt the touch of someone on his head. He awoke quickly, glancing to see who it was. It was Kokomo. (Name) couldnât help the tears form in his eyes as he got up, accidentally waking up the dog, and pulling her into a hug.
Kokomo gracefully returned it, whispering about how much she missed him. (Name) felt the sudden urge to scent her. He had never felt this way when he was an alpha. But he had never scent anyone so he wasnât sure how.
â(Name), are you okay? I was so worried!â
âMmh, I feel odd. But we need to get home.â
âThere is no home⊠they took itâŠâ Kokomo muttered.
âWhyâŠ?â
âWe donât own it. But we donât have to worry about people thinking we were apart of it! Kimura-San proved us innocent!â Kokomo grinned.
âHow?â
A blush appeared on her face. âOh⊠uh⊠well, Kimura-San, the boss of this company, had been previous business partners with mom and dad⊠they knew something was odd when mom suddenly got enough money to pay off any debts.â
âSo they spied of them?â (Name) asked.
âKinda. They didnât tell me much. Just that the police wonât need to investigate us⊠the public is a different story. But Kimura-San will let us stay here.â
âWhatâs in it for them?â
âNothing. But itâs good for an omega to stay with his alpha.â
âExcuse me?â
Kokomo frowned. âIt was probably traumatic for you. But he did bitch you. It was because his sister was almost bitched by our brother.â
(Name) felt himself frown. âSo I was bitched for revenge?! I was forcibly changed and removed of any good status I had in this life because of fucking revenge?!â
He stood up from the bed as he paced around.
âGood status? (Name) you donât mean thatâŠâ
(Name) growled. âOf course I fucking believe that. An omega!? A fucking omega!? I had a good life as an alpha! People loved me! And now Iâm stuck as a fucking breeder!â
A slap rang out in the room as (Name) felt his eyes widen in shock. Kokomo had slapped him. He turned back to stare at her, wondering when she got the audacity to hit him.
âI know you are panicked! Turning into an omega isnât something easy. But I wonât allow you to talk down about omegas or yourself. Taiki will take care of you!â
âTaiki?! Who the fuck is Taiki?!â
Kokomo sighed. âJust⊠allow him to help you. Heâs been caring for you for awhile now.â She walked over to the door. (Name) watched as she left, leaving him alone in the unfamiliar room.
Was she⊠did she really turn against him?
(Name) felt tears stream down his face as he wondered if this was it. Was he screwed over forever? He glanced over at the dog on the bed as he tried to calm down.
He needed something. He wanted someone.
Despite the bright sun shining into his room, (Name) joined the dog on the bed and went right back to sleep, feeling defeated in his short life. He was sure if he wanted to wake up.
The feeling of something cool against his hot skin was healing towards him. A whisper was heard as he was manhandled into something cool. He could smell that Kimura man⊠was it because it was his house?
âSana! Give him some space,â the voice said, pushing away a barking animal. (Name) stirred in the manâs arms, wanting to get a good look at who it was.
He glanced up and saw the bathroom man. Kimura. The man who turned him into this⊠shell of himself. But he couldnât feel angry. He felt himself purr at the sight of him. If he had a tail, it wouldâve been wagging.
âBaby, are you feeling okay? Being bitched isnât something most alphas can handleâŠâ Kimura muttered. âBut you seem to be handling it pretty well, huh?â
(Name) hummed. âYou bitched me because of my brother, right? Why are you treating me like this?â
Kimura gripped (Name)âs chin and forced him to look up at him. âI wouldâve bitched you even if your brother didnât kidnap my sister. I wanted you for awhile now.â
âWhâwha? How did you know me?â
âYou donât remember me, do you?â Kimura smirked.
âDoes it look like I do?â
Kimura simply hummed as he leaned down and pressed a soft kiss on (Name)âs healed mating mark. A sudden mewl left (Name)âs lips as he felt his cock twitch at the touch. He couldnât contain his purring as he felt Kimura bit over his mating mark.
âYou donât have a clue on how long Iâve waiting for you.â Kimura whispered. âNo matter how much you initially ïżŒfight me, Iâll continue to love you.â
(Name) blushed. Love? This man, who could be five years his senior, loved him? He, in the first time once he saw him, got a good look at his features. Dark jet black hair with medium length bangs. Sharp monolids that resembled a cat. Medium lips that could widen into a sinister smirk if he wanted to.
He wasnât scary to look at, at least.
(Name) opened his mouth to speak only to feel a sudden gush of something wet from his ass. He watched as Kimura only had to sniff once to know what he was smelling.
âAlready? Your heat is coming.â Kimura muttered, easily maneuvering (Name) to lay down on the bed as he pulled off his boxers. (Name) hated how he didnât struggle.
He wanted to but his body wouldnât listen. It was the stupid omega that was purring at the sight of âhisâ alpha pleasuring him.
âBefore you touch me down there, who are you? Yakuza?â
Kimura stared at (Name) before grinning. âMaybe. You canât be this rich without some side businesses.â
âLike my parents.â
âWeâre nothing like your scum of earth parents. Donât you ever try to say my family is anything like them, alright?â Kimura glared at him, making him quickly agree,
âDonât worry, baby. You wonât be a Harada anymore. Youâll be a Kimura.â
âThen⊠youâre TaikiâŠ?â
âYeah. Taiki, wanna scream it?â
(Name) shook his head even though the slick looking at his ass was beginning to bother him. Taiki simply chuckled before slipping in two fingers into his ass.
A scream left the newly omega beneath him as he thrusted the fingers deep inside, dragging them against his warm walls as they tightened around him. (Name) hated how he craved this. How he wanted to pull Taiki in closer.
âCan you imagine my cock instead of my fingers? I think youâd honestly prefer it,â Taiki laughed.
âShut your fucking mouth!â (Name) cried, not sounding at all as the angry alpha he used to. Now he only reminded Taiki of a whiny omega who needed to be fucked during their heat.
âFine, fine. We can sit in silence.â
With that, he thrusted in a third finger, dragging it in deep enough to brush against his prostate. A scream left (Name)âs lips as his back arched. Heâd never had anything up his ass before and he hated how easily his body was taking it.
There was no resistance. Slick continued to drip out, making it easier for Taiki to continuously stimulate his prostate. (Name) didnât really like the silence, being as his moans and whimpers were the only thing in the room.
Well, until a certain bark caught his attention.
âOH MY GOD!!â
âWhat?!â
âGet the dog out!!â
âSana is fine. She doesnât know what weâre doing.â
âOut or youâll never fuck me!!â
Taiki cursed but did as he was told, removing his fingers and grabbing Sana to take her out of the room. Sana whined at this but didnât fight his hold. Once the door closed when she was put out, Taiki frowned to see (Name) fully covered with a blanket.
âSeriously?â
âGet away.â
âIf Iâm away, your omega will cry.â
âNo sex.â
âFine. You initiating it will be sexy later. Since youâre still leaking slick,â Taiki said, turning on the tv.
âIâm stuck like thisâŠ?â
Taiki turned his attention back over to him, leaning over. (Name) watched as Taiki surprisingly showed off his neck, his scent gland. Did he wantâŠ
âGo ahead. Bind me to you like I bound you to me.â
(Name) shouldâve pushed him away. Slap him. Fucking kick him away for doing this to him. But he gripped Taikiâs shoulder and pulled him in as he bite harshly at his scent gland. He enjoyed the grimace he earned from Taiki, making sure the mark would take.
The taste of blood was metallic and a bit gross at best. (Name) pulled away with blood coating his lips as he stared at the mark. It wasâŠ
It made his heart swell at the sight. Taiki was hisâŠ
The stupid omega in him was fucking happy but he wasnât.
He couldnât be.
âHappy?â
âNo! Get out of my sight!â
âNo. This is my room.â
âWhat?!â
âAnd youâre wearing my clothes.â
(Name) was ready to take this clothes off but decided against it. Heâd rather not be naked.
âYouâve ruined my life.â
âI think I made it better, Omega.â
(Name) ignored the sudden rush of slick in his ass.
He was screwed.
