Stan finds out Ford clearly has a guilt driven fear of his brother dying before him, and it gets worse every time he sees how much whiter his hair is despite being the same age.
He begrudgingly agrees when Mabel suggests she should dye both of them to make Ford feel better.
An AU where Salesman Stan meets a Fiddleford whose personal computer business wasn't doing so hot. He tells Fiddleford all he needed was a catchy (or cringey) name for his product.
"Introducing the Fold-a-ford! The Foldable computer you can afford!"
Cue Stanley being coerced into being Fiddleford's marketing team, and everything snowballing from there.
(Later on, the world gets introduced to the I-pho-I mean the "Fiddlephone!")
- So you know how Bill and Ford made a deal to enter his mind? Imagine the exact words of his conditions were "Till the end of time."
- What if during weirdmageddon, Bill found a way to enter Ford's mind even with the Metal Plate, but they find out it doesn't work anymore since he said at the start "Time is dead and meaning has no meaning."
- So technically their contract is void because *time being dead* counts as *time ending.* I could just imagine Bill being absolutely gobsmacked by a loophole he didn't realize.
Gravity Falls AU Idea that I may or may not write for at the moment, so I'm sharing here to get the satisfaction of yapping about it.
"S/T/A/N/L/E/Y" AU: THE INCIDENT
- An AU where some time after Ford returned from the portal, Mabel and Dipper come across an ancient grimoire that they want to show Ford.
- He tells them that it's a "one time use only" kind. Before they could safely store it for later decoding, an accident happens and Stanley is suddenly cursed with its spell, separating him into 7 clones that look like his teenage self.
- They conclude that each clone represents a specific personality trait as they introduce themselves. Mabel Decides to name them each letter in Stanley's name. (I've also added some notable traits to describe them.)
S - Stan's "Joy"
(One that displays an enthusiastic disposition. It reminds Ford of Stanley's younger self the most, particularly in how he's the most excited in asking him about their whole anomaly situation. He wears Kid Stanley's outfit.)
T - Stan's "Charisma"
(Is the one that wears his Mr. Mystery outfit. This guy is also the one that has his flirty side.)
∆ - Stan's "Mischief"
(He's the one that represents Stanley's trouble making tendencies. He's the one that initially annoys Ford the most because of his combative nature. Also it's because he's the one that has the default teen Stan look, and it reminds Ford of the Stan that broke his project.)
N - Stan's "Fear"
(Accidentally Calls Ford 'Dad' during their first meeting. He is the only one that wears a different outfit everyday, notably to the audience: similar outfits to Stanley's past aliases.)
L - Stan's "Punchyness"
(Mabel insisted in calling him that. He wears a plain white shirt, along with his Boxing Shorts, and bandage wrapped arms used in sports. Has a tendency to punch first, ask questions later.)
E - Stan's "Smartness"
(This one comes as a shock to everyone. He wears Stanley's indoors outfit, a stark contrast to his personality. He's the first one to become self aware of what they have done to him, formulating a detailed plan of action similar to what Ford was about to say.)
Y - Stan's *Laziness*
(Wearing the same outfit as Stan did during the portal incident. Likes to keep his hands in his pockets. He's not one for talking, choosing to stay on the sidelines.)
Little did they know this small accident would lead to a whole mess of events in the near future.
