This cauliflower crust pizza recipe is the best thing you can use instead of regular pizza crust. It tastes great and stays together well, making it perfect for people who want a low-carb or gluten-free option.
Ingredients: 1 medium cauliflower head. 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1 egg. 1/2 cup pizza sauce. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese for topping. Your favorite pizza toppings e.g., pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven up to 450F 230C. To make cauliflower rice, cut the cauliflower into florets and pulse them in a food processor until they look like rice. Put the cauliflower "rice" in a bowl that can go in the microwave. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until it's soft. Wait for it to cool down. Use a clean kitchen towel to squeeze out as much water as you can from the cooked cauliflower. Put the squished cauliflower, 1/2 cup of mozzarella, Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Combine well. Mix in the egg until the dough comes together. Press the cauliflower crust mixture into a pizza pan lined with parchment paper to make a crust that is 1/4 inch thick. After the oven is hot, bake the crust for 10 to 15 minutes, or until it turns golden brown. Take the crust out of the oven and cover it with pizza sauce. Toppings of your choice should go on top of the 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Put the pizza back in the oven and bake for another 10 to 12 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly. Cut your cauliflower crust pizza into pieces, serve it, and enjoy!
