Extra, extra! Broadway stars Cody Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi are tying the knot!!

Here is the wedding fic at last - it was many months ago that @adiduck prompted me for this, and then helped me painstakingly make the playlist. But I had a lot of fun with this one, and hopefully you all will too! Be warned: this is tooth-rotting fluff with a side of a LOT of musical theater.

This is a mini-sequel to the main fic in my Codywan Broadway actor AU, The Truth That Once Was Spoken! While it can probably be read alone as just a cute wedding fic, it will be a LOT more fun if you've read the main fic.

i'm quite fond of my family's tradition that during the seder, whoever hides the afikomen makes a concerted effort to over exaggerate every possible noise rather than being quiet. this includes slamming cupboard doors, tossing couch cushions across the room, rattling the dog's leash, plunking random piano keys, and flushing the toilet. it's a whole comedy routine at this point

going from the reddit star wars fandom to the tumblr star wars fandom is giving me insane whiplash. the upside is that people aren’t bitching about every single imperfect detail in the entire franchise, but the downside is that i’ve seen more fanart of obi wan and commander cody tenderly knowing each other than i have ever wanted to in my life in the last three hours and it has probably fundamentally altered the way i interact with the entire franchise
