I decided not to put it all in this post so that it wasn't super long but this was inspired by a hypothetical Star Trek episode:

I wish that they had actually captured Lore at some point because it's the perfect opportunity for a Quintessential Star Trek Ethical Dilemma

Picard, ever the logical devils advocate would probably be the first one to suggest they deactivate/dissasemble him

But we know from the Borg episode where Geordi becomes friends with a borg and refuses to let Picard turn him into a living bomb and ofc from being bestie westies with Data that Geordi has big opinions on what gives a being human rights

I think that he would argue against Lore being disassembled because it blows a huge hole in the case for Datas rights as a human. If his rights are a privilege to be taken away if you're a mean robot that's dehumanizing to nice robots too. Although Lore should definitely stand trial #genocidaltwinbrother
