I will be uploading Buffy and Charmed too eventually once I bump my Google Drive storage space up to 5TB but those two can usually be found everywhere so it’s not that much of an issue that they’re not uploaded yet.

If it’s female or WLW representation, I care about it. However, it’s usually just action/adventure, fantasy and supernatural I watch for myself. South Of Nowhere is an outlier just because it’s so god damn well written/acted and the WLW ship/couple in it are the lead characters.

filippo tommasso marinetti wrote both the fascist manifesto and created this type of art:

art is a symptom of its times but is ineffective in combating fucking anything. its valuable to analyze it to see how the society reflects in it; its also used as a part of propaganda, art is incredible and very important... but it wont be combating shit!

take it in the modern example - artists raising funds for palestine through raffles or using their art to get more eyes on fundraisers is a very literal and active use of art; its political, its useful, its applied. but it sure as hell isnt stopping any bombs.

We need to conquer space travel for the only reason that zero-g would allow for new never before seen pastries, you know how the top of the muffin is the best part? Well that is because it is exposed to air so it changes the chemistry, in normal earth gravity it is impossible to make a muffin that is all top part because it needs to be placed somewhere which would restrict air flow, however in zero g it would be possible to make a bubble out of muffin dough which gets optimal airflow and becomes an all-top part muffin... Gilbert Baker added a 9th stripe shortly before his death, with the new stripe representing diversity. He added this stripe in reaction to the 2016 US election. It’s unfortunately not as well known as the 8 and 6 striped versions.

So I’ve been working on this indie TTRPG project for a while. I chatted with my friends about it, gauged interest for a playtest, and built up a list of people I thought would be interested. And I’m talking about like half a dozen people I considered fairly close friends.

Finally I send out a big email with the rule book and an invitation and ask for availability to schedule. it’s been a week and nobody has replied at all.

Idk man. I want to imagine they’re just taking their time reading in detail. But tbh I know that’s not what’s happening here and it’s pretty fucking depressing. Not sure if I really want to send reminders and follow-ups and put in the effort to force something to happen. I feel like I am always the one doing that.
