Platinum/Pride

Platinum is a critical catalyst in green energy systems such as hydrogen fuel cells. Before the 1700s, Europeans considered it as little more than an annoying impurity in gold.
Iridium/Intergender
Intergender- a gender between male and female or a mix of both, exclusive to intersex people.
Iridium is extremely resistant to corrosion of all kinds. The International Prototype Kilogram is made of iridium and platinum. It’s also a particularly gay element— it was named after Iris, goddess of the rainbow, because many of its salts are colorful.
Osmium/Omnisexual
Omnisexual- attracted to all genders, though gender plays a role in the attraction.
Osmium is the densest element, followed closely by its neighbor iridium. It is also the rarest precious metal on Earth. Osmium tetroxide is used to stain tissue for microscopy, but it’s also extremely poisonous.

I get some people in this world are homophobic but do they really have to go this far but disrespecting their rights?
