Matcha moment ✨ I took my love for matcha to the next level and now I’m having it frozen. You know what I noticed recently? I haven’t been feeling really any kind of knee pain. For a good solid month I’ve cut out corn, gluten, grains, wheat, soy, natural flavors, and citric acid. And of course I’ve been getting in fresh turmeric in my smoothies. Nothing else has changed. I’m still lifting and hiking consistently. Which before I used to feel slight pain in either one of my knees when doing those activities. But since cutting those things from my diet, I haven’t felt any pain. This is so exciting! Don’t get me wrong things like corn, soy, gluten, grains, and wheat might not be the problem. It might of just been one of those foods or the consistent consumption of fresh turmeric might of been what really did it. But the citric acid and natural flavors are just always unhealthy ingredients for all of us
My protein intake straight after I workout has just leveled up. Since it was cloudy and dreamy out this morning I made a blue green protein latte. I headed up almond milk, threw it in the blender, added blue green protein from Moodbeli, peppermint extract, vanilla bean powder, and a little bit of stevia. Oh and cacao dusted on top. This blend is something I need to keep making because wow
