These two panels were so incredibly powerful to me, you can feel the shift from desperation to resignation in this scene and it made me cry so I had to draw it. The amount of emotion you can feel just in each individual panel never fails to amaze me

while this is my last DTIYS entry, it is not my last redraw by any means! I started doing these redraws before the challenge began and i don’t plan on stopping after it ends :)

How easy is it for Fenn to pick up Tobi? And for that matter how much does Tobi like being picked up or carried by Fenn?

Very easy lol. Tobi is light compared to some of the stuff Fenn could lift.

And Tobi loves it 🥹💕 Although sometimes his mind goes to 'if he can pick me up this easy what else can he do...👀' LOLLL

I remember reading somewhere that Fenn and Tobi were somewhat inspired by Good Omens' aziraphale and crowley...so I absolutely had to dress these two up like them.

Im still trying to figure out how to upload my drawings from cilpstudio so sorry if the colors are a bit off...

Here's the song that Tobi's singing for anyone who's curious (it was written in the 50s and released in the 2000s so definitely not around for his time, but I've been listening to Connie Converse a lot lately and I kept connecting this song to Tobi for some reason):

Also, I've held the headcanon of lil Fenn befriending all the animals and critters on the farm (in compensation for not having other kids to be friends with) for a while AND! If I ever did a longer version of this little comic idea I'd probably use this dialogue from a conversation with Bia ( @filletedfennysnake ) a little while ago

Also them with swords is so funny and fun LOL.

Fenn's sword is so huge it looks like he could take down a dragon 😭 Instead of shooting his general in the butt I dread to know what he accidentally did in this scenario 😂😭💀

Modern Fenn and Tobi are so cute 😭 and I love Tobi playing the banjo!!! I feel like he would totally make his own and carve little things into it too.
