4 years later and I still don’t have a palette. I’m dead.
--- some day in 2017 ---
Berkeley, CA - In that moment, we were silent, waiting in eager anticipation for what was to come. He glances up with eyes full of wonder, lifts his head, and says the words we were all waiting for -- “tamarind and orange, Guatemala”.
This was exactly how my first tasting with Angel’s Cup* went (actually, maybe a little dramatic). It was mysterious, exciting, and educational, and I can’t wait to share with you guys.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Angel’s Cup, Angel’s Cup is a coffee subscription service that lets you blind taste coffees to develop your palette and experience different roasters and beans. There are three subscription types, each with modifiable purchase frequency. I am currently subscribed to the “The Black Box”, which contains four 2.5oz coffees in each box -- a good amount for experimenting with different brew styles and methods.
I came across this coffee subscription service while browsing blogs online. I’ve been wanting to develop my palette and try new roasters/beans for a while, so I was super curious.
Stay tuned for more pictures, reviews, and (maybe) videos on the recent box and other coffees!
*I’m not affiliated with Angel’s Cup in any way (besides being a subscriber), nor am I getting any compensation for writing this review. These are purely my opinions based on my experience.
