UpPeople’s way of talking about this issue is weirdly shameful and it’s really annoying me.

People’s biggest issue with the nippocolypse is all the sex workers and the nsfw artists and yeah that’s a big issue.

But people are acting as if the customers of those people have no reason to be mad?

I like porn. Specifically, I like the porn you find on Tumblr. Mr. Tumblr says there are thousands of other porn sites to choose from but the truth is none of them have content like Tumblr does. Whether it’s porn with fat people, interracial porn or LGBT+ content, you’ll be hard pressed to find it on a different site without some racist, homophobic, fatphobic or otherwise offensive titles and messages. And don’t get me started on the constant loud, virus-laden pop-up ads that swarm those sites. Ugh.

The BBC said that Tumblr was porn made by women for women. A place where women can be comfortable to talk about their desires in a society that shames them for having them. And now that community will be gone. Where can I find porn like that? Pretty much nowhere.

And yet everybody is acting as if we’re just mad about the tiddies! As if that’s not a valid thing to be mad about?

I am mad about the tiddies because this is the only site where I can see those tiddies without feeling shameful or seeing some offensive shit along side them.

the reason I like tumblr is because it’s so easy not to be found here. I don’t have to worry about people from real life being able to find me bc I can hide my blog from search engine results. I can be openly gay here and have a little space to myself to explore my interests and stuff. Social media has always made me really anxious as I’m a naturally reserved person. I’m reluctant to use such widely used sites like Instagram and twitter because I don’t want my family or friends I’m not too close to find me on there ! And also why the fuck do twitter and Instagram make your following and likes public
