Sylvia Plath, from The Unabridged Journals
me vs me
Melancholy of the caged bird.
Opening this blog for merely boredom and curiosity makes me fall again into a swirl of nostalgia I didn't remember to have. Those were my happiest days, and also some of the cruelest I’ve had. Apparently my circumstances were just preparing me for what was coming. And I can see that I was so young and innocent, absorbed in dreams and broken possibilities.
My anguished mind now tells me, that I was always aware of this. At the time I knew I was doomed, so all of this in the present shouldn't be a surprise. I might as well just let go of the past and delete this blog. Or maybe I’ll just leave this here and, in a couple of years read it and remember today; this cloudy day. If not that means I just finished remembering, or that I finally ended my life. Who knows...
Incertidumbre...
